Big news in the movie-making world!
Disney is no longer going to be using the 21st Century Fox studio lots.
Alright Disney, let’s have a little chat.
It appears that Disney+ is on the up and up financially after finally becoming profitable, but that doesn’t mean all is well with the streaming platform. Disney recently raised subscription prices and has been cracking down on password sharing, upsetting many of its users. However, Disney maximizing profits is not a new phenomenon. Instead, the issue that needs discussing is Disney+’s content quality problem.
Disney is not the only streaming service currently on a roll of canceling many of their shows, but we have heard a LOT of their cancelation news recently!
Bob Iger, Disney’s CEO is really focused on making Disney’s streaming profitable, and Disney+ has increased by 6 million subscribers since his return. However, we have also seen a massive uptick in shows being canceled.
New nighttime show? Count us IN!
We love the nighttime shows we get to watch in Disney World — Happily Ever After in Magic Kingdom, Luminous in EPCOT, and Fantasmic! in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, just to name a few. Now Disney just gave us a sneak peek at a new nighttime spectacular that’s arrived at one of their international parks!
Who else LOVED keeping up with the Russos as a kid? We sure did!
Wizards of Waverly Place was available to watch on Disney Channel from 2007 to 2012, and a lot of us were pretty bummed when the show was canceled. So, imagine how STOKED we all were when a REBOOT was announced! The fan-favorite family comedy starred Selena Gomez as Alex Russo, who navigated her teenage life as a wizard while surrounded by her normal friends, classmates, and teachers. Of course, her family members were also wizards, including her older brother Justin, played by David Henrie. Henrie was the one to announce the reboot, sharing a photo on social media of the script cover. Now, we have another update!
Are you ready for some NEW movies and shows on Disney+?!
Disney+ Billboard
Disney has announced the new shows and movies coming to Disney+ in March 2024, and the list is pretty exciting! Morbius is coming to the streaming service on the 1st, and Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) will be available starting on the 15th! That’s not all, though — new episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch will arrive, along with episodes for the new X-Men ’97 show. Check out the full lineup here! [Read more…]
It’s been a rough year for Disney.
Between lawsuits, box office flops, poor financial results, and more, the company has had to deal with a lot of negativity as of late. We’ve also seen show after show get canceled by Disney, and now, another series has officially been added to that list. Here’s what we know.
Disney has been focusing pretty seriously on its streaming services and broadcasting television networks, and the company’s scrutiny has apparently resulted in a few shows being canceled if they’re not performing as Disney hoped they would.

We’ve seen it happen on Disney+ and ABC, and now another Disney+ show is being canceled, this time after just one season on the platform.
We’re officially entering that time of year when the only rational thing to do is cozy up on the couch and have a movie marathon.
We can’t be the only ones, right? If you’re anything like us and are looking forward to sweater weather, you’re in luck because Disney just dropped the full list of everything coming to Disney+ in November! Let’s check it out.
Marvel’s new show Loki became very popular when it debuted in 2021!
Fans cannot wait for season two to come out (on October 6th!), and even McDonald’s is celebrating the big release! The fast food chain included some specialty Loki-themed meals on their menu as part of their “As featured in” series, but now there’s an even BIGGER collab happening between Loki and the Golden Arches.
