We get a ton of questions about allergens here at the DFB, and we know lots of you will be thrilled with the latest news from the online menus on DisneyWorld.com and Disneyland.com.
Guests can now view allergy-specific menus for some of Disney World’s and Disneyland’s restaurants online — and that means you can get a better idea of what’s safe to eat before you even arrive for your vacation!

Wow.
We’ve just heard that Sweet Spells will be closing permanently later this month to make way for a Pixar merchandise location.
Quoi?!?
Sweet Spells has served traditional Disney park snacks such as Mickey-shaped Krispy Treats, Cake Pops, Fudge, and more over the years. It’s one of the spots where you can see specialty Caramel Apples being decorated, and it added a line of Whoopie Pies unique to the location a couple of years ago.

We don’t say it enough to you all. We LOVE all of our readers, and we appreciate so much how you support the work we do here at the Disney Food Blog. Seriously — we couldn’t and wouldn’t do it without you!
And so, every once in a while, we love to share an opportunity to win something special. But this time, we gotta say — we’ve outdone ourselves. 😀
You know all the crazy that’s been happening around the incredible Tiki Hitchhiking Ghost Mugs, right?
The limited-time vessels are a mash-up Tiki-Haunted Mansion creation, and people are losing their minds over them. They’ve already sold out at both Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar in Disneyland (although they are expecting more on the West Coast around Halloween) and Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in Walt Disney World. And with people waiting in line for hours to get theirs, it’s clear that Disney has struck gold here. [Read more…]
