We can’t wait for the return of Disney World’s nighttime spectaculars.
We’re especially excited to get to see the ALL NEW spectacular coming to EPCOT when Harmonious debuts. This show is going to be a pretty massive undertaking as we can tell from the size of the barges we’ve seen. Now, ANOTHER has popped up!
There’s no doubt that the holidays look a bit different this year in Disney World.
With holiday cavalcades instead of parades, no New Year’s Eve fireworks, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party cancelled, it can be easy to miss the past holidays at Disney. However, Disney has released a video of last year’s “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” for us to enjoy at home!
We’ve been waiting for EPCOT’s new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, for quite some time!
We’ve been itching to hear more news about the show, and Disney has shared a little bit of information with us, like the fact that the barges for the show are going to form a water feature during the day. We’ve seen some photos of these new platforms backstage, and yesterday the first set piece made its way onto World Showcase Lagoon. Today, we stopped by EPCOT to FINALLY see it for ourselves!
There’s SO MUCH going on over at EPCOT right now!
With the transformation of the park currently underway, we’re seeing construction walls everywhere! The park will soon be divided into four new neighborhoods, and we’ll get several new attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Along with these additions, we’re getting a new fireworks show, and today some of the new showpieces were moved into place in EPCOT!
Every year at Disney World is truly full of historic events — park openings, new attraction debuts, new parades, and much more!
Mickey and Minnie
Ever wondered what major Disney event(s) happened the year YOU were born? We’re going through a BUNCH of them here starting with Disneyland Resort’s opening in 1955. Hop in our time machine and get ready to go through all the major events in Disney history!
Disney World has a whole lot of attractions coming to the parks soon with the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, TRON Coaster, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure making their debut soon.
While there is lots of construction is happening around the parks, Disney has had to pause a few of its regular shows. Butt tonight, there will be fireworks in the Magic Kingdom.
We’re not sure what we miss the most from the pre-closure days of Disney World, but fireworks are definitely up there on our list.
Disney World reopened in early July of 2020 with a lot of changes to help keep guests and Cast Members safe. One of the most high-profile changes was the suspension of nightly fireworks and nighttime spectaculars — and they remain suspended even now. How long will it be until we can see the sky above Disney World light up with fireworks again? Here’s what we know.
As you may know, EPCOT is set to receive an all-new fireworks show celebrating the power of music — Harmonious.
The show was supposed to initially debut in the spring of 2020 but has seen a delay due to the historic park closures. We haven’t heard a new reopening date, but we’ve been keeping a close eye on EPCOT fireworks’ progress. Now, we have a pretty BIG sign that could be a step in the direction of the return of fireworks in EPCOT and the rest of Disney World.
You’ve been planning your Disney World vacation for months (congratulations!!), and it’s about time to head out the door.
But, instead of feeling excited, you might be spending more time worrying about things you could forget or what may go wrong during your trip! Whether you’ve gone to Disney once or ten times, it’s totally normal to get those pre-trip jitters.
