It has been a rough year being a TV fan. That’s because some of our favorite shows have been given the axe.
Some shows never even had a chance to get their footing, while others were canceled after just a few seasons. All the streamers and networks have been busy canceling TV series, too, and even Disney’s properties haven’t been immune. On Disney+ and Disney Channel alone, we’ve seen a total of four cancellations, with another coming from ABC. Ouch. So let’s get into the shows that won’t be getting any future seasons.
Another former Disney Channel star is speaking out.
During the 1990s, the Disney Channel assembled an in-retrospect monumental group of talent to star in a reboot of The Mickey Mouse Club, including Ryan Gosling, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, and – – our subject today – – Keri Russell. The Golden Globe-winning actress recently appeared on the Smartless podcast (as told by Newsweek) and had some interesting things to say about her time working for the House of Mouse.

This year will mark the 40th anniversary of Disney Television Animation! For four decades, Disney Branded Television has produced a BUNCH of original series and movies.
To celebrate this monumental occasion, Disney shared details about series renewals and new series, as well as some first looks into their upcoming Disney Junior, Disney Channel, and Disney+ projects!
It can be SO hard to choose what shows to watch these days!
With the variety of streaming services out there, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the movie and TV show options. And coming soon, Disney is changing up some of its offerings…so here’s what you need to know!
Many Disney Channel stars have moved on from their Disney days and ventured into the world of acting in different ways. Zach Efron has taken on more comedic, gritty movies, Selena Gomez is currently starring in a TV show, and Olivia Rodrigo is solely focusing on music!

But we haven’t heard of any Disney Channel star doing tech and space like this one is!
Just when you think you’re starting to get into a new series — BAM! Canceled.
It’s happening quite a bit lately, especially with Disney shows. We’ve seen series after series canceled on ABC, Disney+, and even Disney Channel, and now, another show is joining that list.
It’s SO hard to get into TV series these days because we never know when they might be canceled.
That’s particularly true with Disney shows, especially since we’ve seen MANY shows get canceled this year, including The Wonder Years, National Treasure, and more. Well, it’s time to add ANOTHER show to the list because Disney just canceled a Disney Channel series.
