Today is a HUGE day at Disneyland Resort. The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival has officially kicked off — and we are there checking out all there is to see, do, and — of course — eat and drink.

But something else is changing today in honor of the festival: a classic attraction, Soarin’, is going to be a bit different. Instead of Soarin’ Over the World, you’ll be Soarin’ Over California as of today!
It’s Food & Wine Festival time, West Coast style! The 2024 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is now open through April 22nd!

While you may not associate theme parks with yummy food, both Disney World and Disneyland Resort are known for having some pretty spectacular restaurants and yummy snacks. In fact, both EPCOT and Disney California Adventure have food festivals throughout the year…and now we’ve got more details about one that’s coming soon!

We’ve been reporting on all of it from the new foods to all of the merchandise you can find, and we’re not done yet! While there’s some debate on how to pronounce it, we can say with confidence that we’re excited to spot new macarons in Disneyland, and we just found a couple more, so let’s take a look!

Particularly during the holiday season, we’ve seen Disney World and Disneyland Resort rides get special overlays, like the Jingle Cruise or Haunted Mansion Holiday. But starting today, one Disney California Adventure ride got some changes for the Food & Wine Festival!
The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival is FULL of delicious eats this year.
Disney California Adventure
This festival hasn’t technically started yet (the first official day is tomorrow, March 4th), but a few of the booths opened early! We’re heading to the Golden Dreams booth first to check out the eats there. According to Disney, this spot is home to “well-seasoned eats and nectarous drinks,” and we can’t wait to try them!

We’re constantly sharing the latest snacks and reviewing restaurants, but we get particularly pumped here at DFB when it’s time to go to one of Disney’s big food festivals. EPCOT is home to four throughout the year, but Disney California Adventure also has a spectacular lineup — one of which is starting very soon. And today, we learned about some new food items that sound so tempting that you’ll be booking a plane ticket out to Cali in no time!

But Disneyland Resort gets in on the fun as well with festivals throughout the year at Disney California Adventure. Coming soon, the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will kick off on March 4th, and it’s bringing something really exciting!
