While we have already seen the closure of TriceraTop Spin, Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures, parts of DinoLand are still up and running — and waiting for you to come say goodbye. So, what is still open in DinoLand, and when is it actually closing?
Animal Kingdom is about to look a whole lot different. A brand-new Tropical Americas-themed land called Pueblo Esperanza is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2027.

But, this new land is taking the place of DinoLand U.S.A., and the first phase of closures has already happened. And, now that the street carnival known as Dinorama is no more, Disney has rolled out some new park maps for Animal Kingdom in the park and on the My Disney Experience app. Let’s check it out the changes!

Disney’s new land is described as a colorful, lush world with details from Encanto and Indiana Jones. Construction is imminent since the new land will replace what is currently DinoLand U.S.A. at Animal Kingdom. In fact, January 12th is the LAST day to see DinoLand U.S.A. in its entirety.
Although we love it when Disney announces all the new experiences and attractions they’ll be bringing to their parks, it can be a pretty big bummer when we hear about permanent closures.
