The EPCOT transformation still has a ways to go, but soon, the new Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana walkthrough attraction will open! Plus, over in Magic Kingdom, the long-awaited TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction opened earlier in 2023. Let’s face it. Lots of the big projects in Disney World are wrapping up, so what’s next for Disney World?

It’s been a while since Disney has shared any big announcements on new projects, so fans are itching for news. For instance, remember when Disney teased a GIANT expansion for Magic Kingdom at the last D23 Expo? That’s right, we’re talking about Destination D23. This fan convention is taking place this from September 8th through the 10th at Walt Disney World’s Contemporary Resort. This is where Disney executives give a peek into all the things going on at Disney, from the parks to the movies.
