While Universal’s Epic Universe is dominating the theme park conversation as it ushers in a new era of Universal theme park entertainment, we can’t help but wonder what’s next for another major Florida-based theme park resort — Disney World! garnering a lot of attention from theme park fans. A fifth park would certainly shift the focus back on Disney, and we have a guess as to when Disney could potentially drop this massive announcement.

Disney Reveals First Look at Monsters, Inc. Suspended Coaster Coming to Disney World!

Back at D23, Disney announced that an official Monsters Inc. themed land, Monstropolis, would be coming to Hollywood Studios. Not only that, but Chairman Josh D’Amaro told the crowd, “You’ll go into the factory and experience the first suspended coaster ever in a Disney park. Remember in the movie how those claws grab the doors and hoist them up into the air to take them away? We’re doing that, too. And you’re going along for the ride.”

Ever since then, we have been eagerly anticipating any news about the upcoming attraction (because just like Josh D’Amaro, we too have always wanted to ride on the doors like Mike and Sulley!). We Know What Millennial Disney Adults Will Be Doing in April!

Attention D23 Gold Members: Get ready to go “I-2-1” with a movie screen three smoking April as Disney’s official fan club is hosting EXCLUSIVE screenings of the 1990s cult classic A Goofy Movie!

The screenings are part of the Fork n’ Film screening series, which features “a multicourse meal inspired by your favorite movies.” D23 said, “Each dish is meticulously crafted and served at the exact moment it appears on the screen, offering an unprecedented level of engagement with the movie. This extraordinary approach elevates the cinematic experience, adding an immersive layer of sensory delight. It enables our guests to step into the world of the film, engaging their senses beyond sight and sound.
