The weather is FINE, and the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is still underway through June 5th. There is plenty of great food to eat (but isn’t there always?), and spring is in the air. However, if you’re headed to Disney World this weekend, we’ve got a word of warning: the parks could be a little packed.

Crowds in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
As you know, whenever Disney World has exclusive events, there’s almost always extra crowds at the parks and hotels. Events are happening this weekend at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios that will most likely ramp up the chaos, so let’s talk about it!

While you may not be able to get into some of Disney’s most exclusive events, you should still know about them. Why? Well, because sometimes these events can attract extra CROWDS around the parks and hotels. When we noticed two special ticketed events on the calendar at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in February, we NEEDED to investigate. When we did, we discovered some important things you should keep in mind!
If you want to visit Disney World during a less busy time of year, we’ve got something you might want to hear.
Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom
First, there really isn’t an “off” season in Disney World anymore, especially in 2024. Then, the Disney Dining Plan is returning, and Disney is already offering a FREE dining plan deal to those booking a trip during the year. Then there’s the return of all-day park hopping, which might entice some folks back to the parks who haven’t been in a while. A lot of people have also been waiting for Park Pass reservations to go away, and that’s happening for most visitors this year, too. But February, in general, could be a month you’ll want to avoid.
Disney World crowds are getting…complicated. And those issues could seriously mess up your plans unless you know how to conquer the crowds like a true Disney expert. That’s where we come in. ?

After a Memorial Day weekend in 2023 that wasn’t nearly as crowded as you might have expected, we saw some surprising crowds hit Disney World. And with the crowds came some longer lines. One line has really surprised us recently, and it might catch you off guard too, which is why we’re telling you all about it right now.

You might have those hotel reservations booked and the dining reservations made, and maybe you’ve even got a packing list all ready to go. But what about Disney Genie+?! The skip-the-line system is notoriously confusing with it’s plethora of rules and fluctuating prices. Thankfully, we’re here to help! Today, we’re sharing the best (and worst!) days in May 2023 to purchase Genie+.
If you’ll be traveling this Thanksgiving holiday, be prepared.

Holiday flight costs are high, despite fewer bookings. And between gas costs for those traveling by car and potential complications for those flying, things could be interesting. If you’ll be heading to Orlando, there are some specific things you need to know about before that Thanksgiving travel.

For example, TONS of nighttime entertainment is coming back in the next month, THREE fan-favorite rides are closing for refurbishment, and Mickey’s Toontown is undergoing a full transformation. And, on top of it all, Disney has shared that they will be taking some time to fix a pinch point in Disneyland Park to help with crowding moving forward.
We hate to say it, but we’ve got to be honest. Disney World is not super magical 100% of the time.

One of the things that can take away from the Disney magic is when there are big crowds in the parks. These crowds often mean longer lines at attractions, more people at restaurants, and just a bit more waiting in general. There are some things you can do to cope with the crowds, but mostly you’ve just got to get those patient pants on and make the best of it!
