Sure, there are the usual Dole Whips and churros, but we’ve also had Lobster Nachos, Mickey Beignets, and Chimichangas!
We’re still partying over the fact that we got to spend an entire day inside Disney California Adventure yesterday at the official kick-off of A Touch of Disney!
This festival combines brand new eats with classic Disneyland dishes…and there’s one spot in Hollywood Land where you can score BOTH of these kinds of treats!
We’ve been hard at work scoping out all the news for you this week. Today we have the details on the latest in the Disney theme parks and MORE!
See all of our coverage on Disney park reopenings HERE. We still have a LOT to share with you this week, so let’s jump right in… .
When Buena Vista Street reopens next Thursday, November 19th, it’ll be the first time Disneylanders step food inside the parks in some capacity in over eight months! With the exception of the Stage 17 Backlot Premiere Shop, the parks have been totally off-limits as California is keeping its larger theme parks closed for the time being.
Besides the fact that we’ll be able to take in the sights and sounds of Buena Vista Street next week, there are some incredible returning FOOD items that are a HUGE deal to us!
No, Casey’s Corner isn’t open yet. We’d seen some changes made recently pointing to a future reopening, but sadly our corn dog news has gone cold on that front.
We did, however, enjoy some corn dog nuggets from Westward Ho in Magic Kingdom recently, but today we found something EVEN BETTER.
This week’s visit to the Magic Kingdom was jam-packed with updates since our last visit! There’s new Valentine’s Chocolates, Krispie Treats, Loaded Hot Dogs and Corn Dogs, Eclairs, Refurbishments, Construction, Merchandise, and Alien Popcorn Buckets!
If you’re looking for that perfect treat for your sweetheart the Confectionery on Main Street, U.S.A. has some new Chocolate Truffles that come complete with a solid milk chocolate card!
We have some exciting news about upcoming Fall events at Walt Disney World!
The Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort has announced the dates, menus, and seminars for the 9th Annual Food and Wine Classic. Mark your calendars for Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27, 2018!
The Food and Wine Classic also coincides with the 2018 Epcot Food and Wine Festival. And once again, the Food and Wine Classic will include both Seminars and The Causeway.
Want to know what else you can expect at the 2018 Food and Wine Classic? Here’s a run down!
The central attraction of the Classic is the more than 40 tasting stations featuring dishes from the resort’s 17 restaurants and lounges as well as more than 30 wineries on the Causeway. Check out the Menus page for an idea of what you can expect!
This year several new menu items are joining returning favorites including Dynamite Rock Shrimp, Late Season Zellwood Corn, Wasabi Foam, Matsutake & Japanese Eggplant, Crispy Lotus Root from bluezoo, and Shake & Bake Style Southern Fried Chicken, Black-Eyed Pea Puree, White Cheddar Fondue, Bacon Infused Roast Garlic Gravy from Picabu.
In addition to the Causeway Tasting Booths, the Food and Wine Classic offers three special food areas this year, Carnival Corner, Chinatown, and NEW for 2018, The Pig & Poke. [Read more…]
The Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic is about to kick off this weekend! The 8th annual Classic takes place on October 27th and 28th, and we’ve told you all about what you can expect from The Causeway — that’s the main area of the Classic where food booths extend as far as the eye can see. The food! The drinks! The unlimited snacking (depending on your ticket)! We look forward to it every year.
But there are a few special areas of the Classic that are a little off the beaten…causeway. The Beer Garden, Chinatown, and Carnival Corner are fun additions to the event! And while The Beer Garden requires an add-on to your Causeway Ticket, Chinatown and Carnival Corner are included at no extra charge!
Ticket holders for the event will enjoy the activities on Friday, October 27, and/or Saturday, October 28, 2017, from 5:30PM to 9PM. As in the past, there are several ticket options, which you can find on the event website. The Causeway Ticket provides unlimited access to food and drinks along the Causeway between the two resorts. The Causeway Ticket and Beer Garden ticket allows access to the unlimited Causeway offerings as well as the Beer Garden. There are also a la carte tickets, tickets for seminars, and a Sunday Bubbles Brunch.
But first, here’s why you might want to tack on that Beer Garden option…
This area is a ticket add-on costing attendees an extra $25. Located under the cover of trees on Crescent Terrace, The Beer Garden also offers up extra food in addition to the Garden’s several local and seasonal beer varieties and one or more hard ciders. Guests also get a souvenir plastic glass. [Read more…]

Happy Summer! Today, we’re heading to Frontierland in Disneyland for our latest DFB Video, as we explore a true hidden gem — Stage Door Cafe!
Often overlooked, this counter service spot may have a teensy ordering area, but it’s packed with personality! If you’re looking for it, just turn the corner from the much larger Golden Horseshoe, park your horse, and you’re there. [Read more…]
We’ve got some delicious food news from Disneyland Resort! Paradise Garden Grill at Disney California Adventure recently added two new deep fried foods-on-a-stick to its menu!
Two new items are : Chicken & Waffles Skewer and Crispy Battered Corn on the Cob. Our Dining in Disneyland pal Heather Sievers checked out the menu and shared the deep fried goodness with us!
(Oh, and FYI, the menu at Paradise Garden Grill is where you’ll also find your favorite fried foods during the refurb of Corn Dog Castle, including Hot-Link Corn Dog, Corn Dogs, and Cheese on a Stick!) [Read more…]
