Disney’s Wish is officially out today, November 22nd!
If you’re headed to see Disney’s new movie Wish today, then you might want to take along this new souvenir! And you don’t need a park ticket to get it.
Another week in Disney World has passed, which means we’ve seen some changes at restaurants.
For starters, we discovered a new Frozen treat at EPCOT, and we got a hint about when Narcoossee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa might finally reopen. We also got confirmation of what will be returning to this year’s EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. In the meantime, menus were also changing in Disney World, so let’s take a look at those.
Now that we’ve turned the corner for October, it’s officially spooky season and with it, we have new treats!
Not-So-Poison Apple
Come with us to try SIX new, Halloween-themed treats in Disney World. The best thing about these treats? You don’t need a park ticket to get them — they’re all located at Disney World’s hotels!

Whether you’re just starting your Disney day or wrapping up for the evening, taking the Monorail is always a fun little trip to check out some of what Disney has to offer outside of the actual Disney World parks, including some must-have treats!
The Monorail
Even if you’re not feeling up for a park day, the Monorail can also be boarded at any of the three hotels on its path and thus you can begin your snack tour of the three Magic Kingdom resorts, including Disneys Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!
Theme park food is good and all, but sometimes you just need a break from the popcorn, pretzels, and chicken tenders.
Magic Kingdom is one of those parks where it can seem that typical theme park food is the ONLY option available. Magic Kingdom isn’t exactly known for its gourmet cuisine, so one thing we recommend to Magic Kingdom visitors who are looking for a quick bite to eat that’s a bit tastier than the quick service options in the park is to venture beyond the gates and to the Monorail Resorts. Those looking for delicious sandwiches are pointed in the direction of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Today, we’re reviewing a new sandwich that you can find there. Let’s go!
Well, the past week has been an exciting one, especially for us Disney World fans!
We got some updates on some pretty MAJOR projects happening in the parks, including a revamped Country Bears Jamboree, more ideas for the Magic Kingdom expansion, and potential concepts for the reimagining of DinoLand, U.S.A. But that isn’t all that happened. While all THAT was going on, Disney World was changing up some restaurant menus, but it’s okay because we are on top of it!
We’ve been eating our way around Disney World, just like we always do.
But this time, we’re checking out all the new snacks and foods Disney World has added for Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month. So far, we’ve dived into an Encanto Cupcake, indulged in a sweet taco, and enjoyed a Passion Fruit Tres Leches Cake. But we have MORE new food to try, so we’re heading over to Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
It’s been a VERY exciting week in Disney World when it comes to food.
A brand new restaurant surprised us and opened early in EPCOT (and we ate a $300 sushi boat with ZERO regrets). The way you book dining on the Disney World website and My Disney Experience app has changed (and we think, it’s for the better). More EPCOT Food and Wine food booths opened, too! PLUS we saw some updates on Disney World restaurant menus, so let’s talk about those.
Disney CONSTANTLY likes to change things up with menus at restaurants.
If you’re trying to keep up with all the menu updates, good luck! We see new snacks, new drinks, and even complete menu overhauls at the parks and resorts pretty frequently, and that means we’re eating a LOT of new food in Disney World. Recently, I stopped by Contempo Cafe at Disney’s Contemporary Resort because the popular quick service spot got several new menu additions…and I have some STRONG opinions to share.
Remember when Disney took away the beloved Wendell’s Bear Claw treat from Frontierland? We went through a whole dramatic saga — including the five stages of grief — when it was taken off the menu. If you’re confused, imagine if McDonald’s took your favorite food off the menu. You’d be pretty sad, too!
Wendell and the last bear claw we’ve ever eaten!
Well, the time has come once again — Disney took one of our absolute FAVORITE treats off the menu at Contempo Cafe, and we’re not sure we’ll ever recover from this major foodie blow. Read on if you dare.
