A new meet and greet has officially arrived in Magic Kingdom, but that means we had to say goodbye to one of our favorites. After learning that a Mirabel meet and greet would be replacing the Merida one at Fairytale Gardens, we were left wondering what might happen to our girl Merida — and today, we happened to find her in an unexpected spot!

Since Disney first announced that the highly anticipated Mirabel meet and greet would be arriving in Magic Kingdom, we’ve been so excited to meet her. Now, Mirabel has officially arrived and we’re here to check out this new meet and greet!

Destination D23, a HUGE Disney fan event, is underway at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Disney World, and Disney started the event off by announcing a TON of new things coming to Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, and more. Moana in Animal Kingdom
We’re also really excited about new character meet and greets we’ve seen pop up recently, like the new Moana meet and greet in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Well, listen up, Moana fans, because a NEW meet and greet with her will soon be added to EPCOT.
A NEW restaurant is now open in Disneyland!

Tiana’s Palace opened on September 7th in New Orleans Square in Disneyland Park. This spot is themed after Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, with a menu inspired by classic eats of New Orleans. Lots of folks are super excited to try out the new food, but there’s ONE question that EVERYONE keeps asking us, so we’re here to clear things up.

Who doesn’t want to get a photo with Mickey and Minnie, after all? Who wouldn’t want to get a little goofy WITH Goofy? Who hasn’t wanted to have a chat with a Disney princess at one time or another? Sometimes, though, some of our favorite characters leave the parks, and today, we found out that a fun character has disappeared.

Yes, we will hug Mickey EVERY chance we can get. We also love seeing his friends, like Donald and Daisy. We love seeing characters wandering around the parks, too. Now, though, it seems like two NEW characters may be headed to the Disney parks soon, and we can’t wait!
