We have been ALL over Epic Universe and have enjoyed seeing the five new lands in Universal Orlando’s new theme park.
Celestial Park in Epic Universe
We’ve been on the rides, we’ve checked out the character meet and greets, and we’ve enjoyed the vibe of each land. However, most importantly, we’ve been checking out the FOOD, so we’re coming back at you with a NEW review, this time of a bar called The Plastered Owl (okay, is that not the COOLEST bar name ever?). So here are our honest thoughts.
It’s official: it’s time to party at Epic Universe! We’ve been inside the park as much as possible, trying every snack stand, restaurant, and ride so you can make the most of your Epic Universe ticket.

We have been to Universal Orlando’s new theme park Epic Universe and we LOVED IT. Okay, so it does live up to the Epic name, but what about the food? Because you KNOW we’re all about the food.

We recently stopped by Pizza Moon in Celestial Park to check out the vibes, as well as the food, so come with us while we dine over the (pizza) moon.
When it comes to dining in Epic Universe, there are a LOT of options, and they’re all NEW! Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it! Want a bigger meal? No problem! You can find quick service and full table service restaurants in the park that are themed to various lands and areas, so if you’re looking for something unique, you’ve got it.

Universal offers Annual Passes so you can visit and experience their theme parks whenever you please, but will their newest park be part of their Annual Pass program? It was truly remarkable and we can’t wait for fans to get to experience it on May 22nd when it officially opens to the public! In order to get you prepared, we have collected all the information you’ll need to make your Epic Universe adventure as EPIC as possible. And yes, we’re talking about the bathrooms!
We had a fantastic time in Epic Universe for the first time last week and learned SO much about the new park in just one day.
Celestial Park
Annual Passholder previews were just announced for this new park and are going pretty fast, and Universal announced that Helios Grand Hotel is opening early as well, and for those of you who are securing your spots to go sometime this year, we’re here to tell you that you’re going to have a great time. However, we’ll be the first to admit that we do feel there’s something big missing from this park, and it’s not what you’re expecting.
Let’s just say this weekend has been…EPIC.
We finally got a chance to explore Universal Orlando’s new theme park, Epic Universe. We’ve been running all over Super Nintendo World, as well as How To Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Celestial Park, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic. We also got to get our first really good look at Dark Universe, including the INCREDIBLE Monsters Unchained ride. Well, there was something about that ride that REALLY impressed us that we haven’t talked about yet: the lockers.
