I was a Disney World Cast Member for almost four years and am still an Annual Passholder who spends much of my free time at Disney World. As cliche as it sounds, the parks are my happy place. While I didn’t grow up going to Disney World, in the past six years, I have been hundreds of times.

A Former Disneyland Cast Member Is Suing The Walt Disney Company

Another lawsuit has been filed against the Walt Disney Company.

According to the Daily Pilot, a former Disneyland Cast Member filed the lawsuit in which she alleges that she was wrongfully terminated in 2023 after having her cell phone turned on while on-stage as a ride operator in Fantasyland. When you become a Disney Cast Member, you are introduced to the Five Keys that Disney uses as a set of core values. Of those five values, safety is Disney’s number one priority, especially for ride operating Cast Members.

After one year, a Cast Member can earn their one-year pin, followed by their five-year pin, and so on every five years. Once a Cast Member reaches 10 years with the company, they are invited to a special party that only happens once a year.
