You know how much we love our Halloween eats here at DFB…
And today we spotted three NEW spooky desserts lurking in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
Happy Halloween Time
from the land of the churros — Disneyland Resort!
Churros are a massive hit with the masses, whether Disneyland is celebrating something special or, you know, it’s just a Tuesday. At the Frontierland churro cart near Big Thunder Mountain, guests can currently pick up the Orange Sugar Churro as part of the Halloween Time offerings — and it’s so much more than just an orange-tinted sweet treat!
We are having a great time discovering all the Halloween decor and treats that are popping up in the parks at Walt Disney World – and just in time for the first Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party starting this Friday, August 17th!
Right away we were greeted by the Citizens of Main Street USA who were more than happy to share our sweet treats with us. Looks like the Mummy Cake Pop really spooked one of the citizens! [Read more…]
Halloween is HERE!
No matter what the actual calendar says 😉 , the Disney Parks on both coasts are already celebrating the most epic Halloween ever — especially when measured in Seasonal and Spookerrific eats!
We recently checked out Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World, so today we’re kickin’ it west coast style.
And Disneyland is killin’ it this year! Take a spook… I mean, a LOOK!
They’ve introduced a super cool Halloween overlay in Cars Land that we can NOT get enough of!
The Halloween-ization of Cars Land is just… well, look for yourself. [Read more…]
Halloween time is HERE! Themed treats and merchandise have already started to appear at the Disneyland Resort. On a recent visit I spotted these perfectly packaged Seasonal Candy Bags at Disney California Adventure.
The artwork & packaging on these really caught my eye! There are four different bag designs, each one containing a different type of candy. The candies themselves are not new, but the packaging “make over” from previous years is going to have them flying off the shelves. It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I think I like Donald’s “Terror in Tomorrowland” artwork best. [Read more…]

Boo to You
! It’s Halloween Week, and the Disney seasonal treats just keep coming!
Today, we’re showing you a fun Fall find from The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
I love me some candy corn, but when you combine candy corn and Cupcakes? Even better!
So, Disney World has some hidden gems that keep churning out awesome eats that you’d never expect. Places like Sleepy Hollow and Friar’s Nook in the Magic Kingdom, and Landscape of Flavors at Art of Animation Resort tend to be little hot-beds of creativity when it comes to snacks and must-eat treats. The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge also fits into this category, featuring some seriously great baked goods on a regular basis (like the Chocolate Raspberry Mickey Tart).
And so I give you the Candy Corn Cupcake — with Oreo Mickey Ears, even!!
Mounded high with thick Buttercream Frosting in Candy Corn’s traditional tri-color pattern, the cupcake is trimmed out with orange-tinted White Chocolate Curls for even more visual impact.
This is all piled on top of dark Chocolate Cake. But when you cut into the cupcake, you’ll find a little surprise hidden inside.
Now, to be honest, I’m not completely sure what this is. There is definitely chopped up [Read more…]
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Fall is upon us and Halloween treats have begun to pop up at the Disney Resorts.
The decorations are coming out and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for us this Halloween season. Marceline’s in Downtown Disney is ready!
From what I’ve noticed amongst the people I know, you either love candy corn or you hate it. I don’t really know anyone that has an in-between feeling about it.
I’ve been eyeing these Gummi Candy Corn bags for the last few years. Because of their buttery smell — literally they smell like butter if you take a whiff of the package — I was a little bit scared to try them.
I do love Candy Corn though, so when a friend of mine suggested we try a bag, I decided it was finally time to give them a chance.
Annnnnnd, surprisingly [Read more…]

DFB is getting into the Halloween Spirit sharing tons of fun, spooky treats! We love this time of year when Halloween goodies materialize inside the candy shops, bakeries, and quick-service locations around the Disney Parks.
A few weeks ago, we highlighted the Pumpkin Beignets and Jack Skellington Popcorn Containers in Disneyland!
Let’s take a peek at some more of our favorites! Let us know in the comments below what you’re top choices are!
Of course, we can’t pass up taste-testing some of the seasonal fudge selections at the Confectionery on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. Here’s this year’s Pumpkin Fudge!
And there’s always room for Disney cupcakes – especially when they are seasonally themed!
Don’t settle for plain Candy Corn. Get a candy corn cupcake for super sweetness.
The Animal Kingdom bat cupcake we reviewed last week is one of my favorite additions this year!
And the Main Street Bakery features this pumpkin cupcake.
Check out this cute Minnie Carrot Cake Cupcake that reader Carolyn Houle sent in! You can find these at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Of course, you can’t miss the classic Ghost Mickey Popcorn Container found in all the parks!
Holiday sugar cookies are always sprinkled with festive decor. Love these pumpkin and candy corn cookies at the [Read more…]

Hmm… last I checked the calendar it was August, but in “Disney time” that means Halloween is right around the corner! Check out these not-so-spooky treats Heather and I found in Disneyland and in Disney World! One question, though — why is Mickey’s tongue hanging out on all of the logos? Weird. On we go…
I’m usually not a fan of the pre-packaged, hard-icing sugar cookies, but these might be too cute to pass up.
And here are a couple of treats for the candy corn lover! We didn’t try them, but gummy candy corn smelled oddly of butter….yep, I said butter. Next time you’re in a Disney candy store, see if you can find a bag and smell ’em. Would love to hear from anyone who’s tried them!
If Halloween cookies and cupcakes are your thing, grab these [Read more…]
