How are you going to ring in the new year?
If you’re going to be spending New Year’s at Disney World, you probably won’t be alone, but you’re also in store for a good time!
When it comes to Disney food, it’s been a VERY busy week.
Although we didn’t find much in the way of Thanksgiving food in the parks, we did get to enjoy the first day of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays where we feasted on cookies, funnel cake, churros, and more. During all that time, though, we were keeping a close eye on menus at Disney World restaurants and noticed some changes.
Want to ramp up the cost of your Disney World vacation? There are plenty of pricey experiences you can add to your trip!
From stays at Deluxe Resorts to meals at signature restaurants, Disney offers quite a few luxury experiences. But if you’re heading to Disney World for the new year, then there’s one incredibly expensive addition you might want to know about!
We’ve got some good news this week.
We know y’all were overwhelmed with all the food price increases Disney World had last week, but this week, we don’t have as many changes. We also saw signs that a NEW Disney Springs restaurant is closer to opening soon. There’s also TONS of new snacks to check out right now. Now, there WERE a FEW restaurant menu changes this week, so let’s take a look at those.
Another week, another round of changes at Disney World restaurants.
While we were busy trying some corn dogs at Disney Springs (and one of them BLEW OUR MIND), eating a new fall treat at Karamel Kuche in EPCOT (like we even need an excuse to go there!), and making sure you have EVERYTHING you need to plan that Halloween snacking at Disney World, we were also keeping an eye on Disney World menus. Yep, there are menu updates this week you need to know about.
Some Disney World restaurants are just iconic.
Often, these are Disney Signature Dining restaurants, where you’ll be greeted with world class hospitality and a menu filled with gourmet options that will be prepared by award-winning chefs. The theming at these restaurants is often unmatched, too! To reflect this theming, Disney usually implements a dress code that reflects the upscale atmosphere of the restaurant. Sometimes, this can be confusing for visitors, as they’re wondering if they really have to go back to the hotel and change out of their theme park attire before visiting the restaurant. That’s where we come in, so that you can be prepared.
It’s no secret that California Grill is one of our FAVORITE fine dining restaurants at Disney World. Located in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant has a 3-course meal that makes us hungry just thinking about it.

Thanks to D23, now YOU can make a little piece of that menu at home!
One of the most important parts of your Disney World trip (in our opinion) is what you choose to eat! There are lots of great options for snacks and meals in the parks, but there are also some less-than-stellar eats to watch out for.

We know we’re telling you about all the changes that happen in Disney World ALL the time, but nothing changes more than the FOOD in Disney World.
But, hey, that’s exciting, right? We even got to try CHEESE in ice cream recently, thanks to some new flavors at Salt & Straw (and we are forever grateful). Of course, we’re starting to see even MORE spooky treats pop up in Disney World for Halloween season — and we’ll tell you all about those, too. But now, we’re going to talk about restaurant menu updates because we had quite a few that happened this week.
It’s been a HUGE week for food in Disney World.
First, we have to talk about ALL THE NEW FALL Starbucks drinks that arrived this week (and we’ll get to that). We also visited Casey’s Corner, one of our fave counter service restaurants, and ate EVERYTHING there. We also ate a hotdog with a boozy shake (#sorrynotsorry). In the meantime, though, Disney World restaurant menus were changing, so let’s see what’s been updated!
