No one likes long lines, especially when you’re at Disney World.
With all of the crowds in the parks, there is already a guarantee you’ll experience a wait at some point, but it can end up being even worse when a ride isn’t working properly.
In 2020, Disney announced plans for closing Splash Mountain to make way for a new attraction themed after Princess and the Frog. For some time the closure was a vague, far-off date, but in December of 2022 Disney gave us an official closing date for the ride.
Tomorrow is the last day for guests to ride Splash Mountain in Magic Kingdom. On January 23rd, the ride will be closed permanently to prepare for the retheming as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
We’ve seen a LOT of upcoming ride and attraction closures for Disneyland Resort recently.
We’ve got refurbishments going on over at Tarzan’s Treehouse, Indiana Jones Adventure, Radiator Springs Racers, and more at various times in the early part of 2023. But now, you can add another attraction to that list!
The Walt Disney Company is always pushing the envelope of new ride and attraction technology!
We’ve seen the rise of trackless vehicles on rides like Rise of the Resistance and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and even an interactive virtual element in WEB SLINGERS. Now the future of water rides looks like it could be bright — and it may include one character with a big connection to the ocean!
The Walt Disney World Railroad has been closed in Magic Kingdom for what feels like FOREVER (it’s been almost four years!) due to the construction of TRON Lightcycle Run, but things might be changing soon. ?
We’ve been keeping an eye on TRON construction progress as well as everything happening with the railroad, but Disney has not yet announced when the classic attraction will reopen. That said, Disney has just released an update that could mean big changes!
Are you pregnant and planning to visit Disney World? If so, you probably have dozens of questions. What can I ride? What do I need to avoid? The list goes on and on.
That’s why we have created a full list of attractions Disney themselves says are ok to ride while pregnant and which attractions Disney says you should avoid.
It’s here — it’s finally here!
HALLOWEEN is here!
Of course, we’re talking about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! And now that the party is materializing in Magic Kingdom, you’ll want to prepare for the fun that lies ahead, like not-so-spooky fireworks and frighteningly-tasty treats! We also can’t forget to mention the short lines you’ll find at attractions during the party. Not every ride will be available, however, so get prepared by taking a look at the list of attractions that will be open at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!
Uhhh…Disney’s been having some issues recently.
Within the past week, Disney World faced many struggles, like flooding, canceled shows, closed attractions, and more! And now, it seems like that bad luck has rubbed off on Disneyland, as they’ve had a ton of attractions go down today!
Today is a BIG day in Disney World.
