The brand-new Stella Nova Resort opens on January 21st, 2025, and we are getting a sneak peek at this new hotel. As part of the Epic Universe expansion, this hotel is a sister hotel with Universal Terra Luna Resort which is set to open on March 25th, 2025. This resort is out of this world but what do the rooms look like? Let’s take a look inside!

Stella Nova Resort will be the first of the three new hotels opening at Universal Orlando. It’s a space-themed hotel, just like its sister resort, Terra Luna. According to Universal, “It’s inspired by the infinite vastness of the unexplored universe, where galaxies spiral ever outward and unknown worlds revolve around unnamed stars.” And now we get to explore it for the first time ever days ahead of its grand opening!

Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal CityWalk in California will be closed today, January 8th.

The closure is due to extreme winds and fires impacting Southern California.
The Universal Orlando Resort has confirmed the lineup for their 2025 Mardi Gras celebration, featuring acts from across the spectrum of popular music, including Joe Jonas, T-Pain, Foster the People, Kool & The Gang, Foster the People, All Time Low, TLC, and DJ Pauly D.

The concerts, which are part of the resort’s 30th Mardi Gras celebration — which is included with park admission — will take place “on select nights at the Music Plaza Stage inside Universal Studios Florida, following the Mardi Gras parade.”
We’re only a few months away from the opening of Epic Universe in Orlando and the excitement just keeps building!

We’re expecting to see very heavy crowds around the new park for quite some time after its opening due to its popularity (which could mean Disney World sees lower crowds this summer — we’ll have to wait and see!), and we’re preparing ourselves to run around the park as fast as we can to capture everything and report back to you ASAP. However, Universal just released a photo that gives us a fun insight into the new park!
