If you ask us, there’s no wrong way to eat a Dole Whip!
Whether you keep it classic, amp it up with a splash of pineapple juice for a Pineapple Float, or get a limited-edition concoction like a strawberry-chocolate Dole Whip swirl or the Kakamora Float with coconut Dole Whip, even when Dole Whip is only OK (like you, Watermelon Dole Whip), it’s still pretty darn great!
It feels like just yesterday it was New Year’s Eve, and now it’s already almost February!
Walt Disney World Gateway
Things are constantly changing at Disney World, and February of 2021 will be no exception. From new treats and refurbishments to a brand NEW exhibit, here are some of the biggest changes coming in February!
We took a trip around the monorail to see the latest updates!
Grand Floridian
We visited Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. We’ve got several updates for you, so let’s dive in!
There is quite a lot of construction going on all around Walt Disney World, and especially over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
The guests rooms at the hotel are getting a Moana-inspired makeover, and we’ve seen some massive construction going on at the Great Ceremonial House and monorail station as part of the refurbishments. Now, part of the pool area at the hotel will be closing soon for a bit of refurbishment as well.
We’re back again this week to share updates about the MANY projects going on at Disney World right now.
This was an exciting week as we saw some construction milestones take place for a handful of projects!
UPDATE: At this time Mobile Order is available once again at Polynesian Village Resort dining locations including Kona Cafe and Captain Cook’s.
Like all places, things happen at Disney World.
We’ve seen malfunctioning animatronics, evacuations of attractions, and attractions closed due to technical difficulties. But sometimes, problems happen at resorts, too.
Disney World will often close attractions, restaurants, or resorts for refurbishments. Some closures are scheduled in advance while others are unexpected and due to maintenance issues or other reasons.
You won’t always find the closures advertised before your trip so it’s good to stay in the know! We’re here to help you plan ahead by listing all the planned refurbishments for this week. Check out everything this will be closed between January 25th through January 31st!
