It’s an exciting day in Disney World!
It’s reopened!
Although Disney’s Beach Club Resort partially reopened last summer, today marks the FULL reopening of this hotel. So of course, we stopped by to check it all out!
Walt Disney World has a bunch of delicious desserts to offer all around the resort!
Beaches and Cream
Some of our favorite sweet treats can be found over at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort! You can chow down on cookie fries or sip a root beer float, and the over-the-top milkshakes are super fun! But something was pretty different when we recently ordered a milkshake at Beaches & Cream — take a look!

And we will never turn down a Dole Whip, Corn Dog Nuggets, or anything served with PLASTIC CHEESE (yes, it’s our weakness and we are not ashamed). But did you know some of the BEST meals and snacks are actually found OUTSIDE of the parks?

And we were there on its grand reopening day, checking out how things have changed, and comparing it to what it was like before it closed with Disney World last year. We were there for breakfast, but we also decided to check it out for dinner!

When Disney World reopened, several restaurants remained closed for months afterward, not having the resources, staff, or possibly guest demand to operate again. Now, we’re starting to see some of our favorites open back up for business, and today we’re heading over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort to check one out! Cape May Cafe has reopened and we’re ready to utterly stuff ourselves with hearty breakfast food.

2021 is a big year for the parks! Not only is it Disney World’s 50th anniversary, but the property is continuing with its phased reopening since its closure in 2020. That means we’re seeing some things opening for the first time (like the brand-new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT!), but other things are reopening.
