Welcome back to Disney World’s resorts! A LOT has been happening over here.
There are so many hotels to choose from when you go on a Disney World vacation, but how do you know what’s going on at each hotel? We’ve got lists of our favorite hotels, but we also do a roundup of recent info every week or so to keep you updated on EXACTLY what’s happening, so let’s get into it!
Resort hopping is one of our favorite things to do at Disney, and splurging at the resort shops, eating at the themed restaurants, and simply looking at all the resort decor makes a good day even better!
Sometimes, some really great merchandise and snack options are hiding in the resort shops rather than in the parks. We went to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and then later took the Skyliner to some other resorts on property, and we found some great items including several exclusive things for DVC members! Plus, we even got to see some construction!
When you go to Disney World do you think about the closures that could affect your trip?
This is the time of year when Disney World does a lot of refurbishments at the resort, so you might be surprised to find that certain rides are down, hotel pools are closed, and more. As of today, though, a mode of Disney World transportation is closed for refurbishment.
One of the biggest perks of staying at a Disney World resort is having access to Disney World’s vast transportation system.
If you need to get somewhere in Disney World, all you need to do is hop on a bus, a boat, the Monorail, or the Skyliner. However, when a mode of transportation goes down in Disney World, it could put a wrench in your plans. That’s why we’re reminding you that the Skyliner will be closed very soon!
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is a popular place for families to stay at Disney World! With its over-the-top theming and giant swimming pool, it’s likely that kids will love this stay.
In fact, this is one of our best resorts for toddlers at Disney World. And while there are many choices for dining at Disney World in the parks, at Disney Springs, and at other resorts, sometimes you just want to have something close to your home base!
Disney World is constantly a FLURRY of activity. That means that there is always some kind of construction going on, whether that be for new attractions, new restaurants, ride refurbishments, and more.
If you don’t know about these things in advance, it could catch you by surprise and affect your entire trip. Particularly, there are closures, construction, and other things that happen at Disney World hotels that could affect your stay, so we’re going to warn you about those in advance.
So you’re planning to take your toddler to Disney World! Congratulations! It’s so fun to watch little ones enjoy the magic.
Now that you’ve decided to take your toddler to Disney World, we’re sure you have lots of questions. We’re here to answer a big one for you today: What hotel should you choose when taking a toddler to Disney World?
This weekend is going to be exciting at Disney World — it’s the 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!
Runners from all over will be heading to Disney World to enjoy this year’s RETRO 1990s theme, buy some fun throwback merchandise, and earn some cool medals! They’ll also have a snack pack they can pick up at select Disney World hotel restaurants!
Okay, if you’ve been reading DFB for a while, you know we get excited about certain Disney foods.
We will never NOT tell you about our love for Corndog nuggets (and plastic cheese sauce). We will always want a Dole Whip. We rarely turn down a charcuterie board when it’s offered in restaurants — but a NEW charcuterie offering has arrived in Disney World, and YES, we tried it!
