Heads up Annual Passholders! Disney has unveiled some new summer perks just for you!
Annual Passholder
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to take advantage of the V.I.Passholder beginning next month! From May 14th through July 13th, APs will find increased dining and shopping, discounts, access to new merchandise collections, and even an EXCLUSIVE lounge. There are even some special offers for Passholders who can’t make it to the resort in person.
We’ve got some GREAT news, Disney fans! If you’re like us, you might enjoy learning all about the behind-the-scenes magic that goes into running a theme park like EPCOT or Magic Kingdom. Cast Members are MAGIC! And one of the best ways to learn more is with a backstage tour.

From the “Caring for Giants” tour in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to the iconic “Keys to the Kingdom” tour in Magic Kingdom, there are some GREAT ways to see what goes on backstage in Disney World. But one special tour, DiveQuest, has been closed for a LONG time. But it’s returning, and SOON!
Disney World is expensive — there’s no way around that, but there are ways to make your trip less likely to break the bank.

Dining in Disney World can be especially hard sometimes considering it can cost quite a pretty penny, especially if you’re with a larger group. However, the key is to grab snacks and meals that are both filling AND on the cheaper side — yes, they do exist, and we’re about to prove it to you right now!
We are getting close to being ONE month out from the opening of two brand-new Disney shows in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! On April 27th, we will be just one month away from the debut of Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After and “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.”

We have been waiting (not so) patiently for the grand opening show, and we are getting closer and closer! However, we still have a bit before they open. Let’s take a closer look at what these shows are replacing and what else is closed in Disney World this week.

Magic Kingdom
With Easter in the rearview mirror, knowing what the weekly average wait times are for those popular rides can make or break your upcoming trip. If you’re heading to the parks soon, we’ve got all the info you need to know! This week, wait times went DOWN at Disney World across the board, though not by wide margins. Avatar: Flight of Passage regained its familiar title of busiest ride at the resort. Let’s dive in!
EPCOT is such an underrated park. First, you’ve got all these AMAZING festivals that bring a lot of extra food, fun, and entertainment to the park.

Plus you’ve got World Showcase where you can walk around the world in less than a day (and again…MORE great food). Then there are the nighttime shows. Of course, there’s the show on World Showcase Lagoon, Luminous “The Symphony of Us.” But there’s also the fancy lighting on Spaceship Earth that lights up the night throughout the evening in the front of the park. However, we recently spotted a BIG problem with EPCOT’s icon.
Dining at Disney World can be overwhelming because you’ve got a TON of options. Want something quick and easy? You’ve got it. Something middle of the road and comforting? Yep, that too. And if you’re looking for something upscale and luxurious, you can find that as well.

Here at DFB, we know a thing or two about Disney World. And, I personally happen to know a thing or two about drinking at EPCOT. In fact, it’s one of my favorite things to do.

Some might consider me the resident expert on imbibing here at DFB (okay, or maybe I’m just the loudest about it), which is why I feel particularly qualified to tell you about the latest problem plaguing EPCOT — barflies. One World Showcase pavilion tends to attract them more than most, and we need to talk about it.
One of Disney World’s busiest rides is ALMOST ready to restart its engine.
Test Track construction
EPCOT’s Test Track has been closed for refurbishment since June 2024, as Disney Imagineering transforms the attraction into a third incarnation. We’ve known since the D23 Ultimate Fan event last August that the attraction would be reopening sometime in the summer of 2025, and now things seem to be revving up.
