Set sail with new merchandise!
The launch of the Disney Cruise Ship’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure, is just months away. The ship is scheduled to set sail on its maiden voyage on December 21st, and now Disney has revealed a sneak peek at the Treasure’s new merchandise collection.
Hurricane Helene continues to hamper Disney operations on the East Coast of the United States.
Just this week, a state of emergency was declared for Disney World and 61 counties in Florida after Hurricane Helene strengthened and shifted course from the Gulf of Mexico, making its way into Central Florida. However, Disney World isn’t the only Disney destination affected by this storm, as we now know that the Disney Cruise Line is submitting warnings as well.

We absolutely can’t wait for this brand-new ship coming in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, especially having heard that it’s headed towards open water for the very first time! Now, that’s got us pumped and ready to go to experience everything and taste all they got for us. Speaking of eats, we wanted to have a quick chat about one particular dining spot on the ship and how there are some tables there that will be quite a challenge to grab for your meals. Disney Cruise Line is about to expand in a HUGE way.
Disney keeps adding new ships to its lineup, including the Disney Treasure (which sets sail later this year), the Disney Adventure, and the Disney Destiny. But that’s not all. Disney recently announced it’s adding even MORE ships to its fleet. Whew…Disney Cruise Line is busy right now. That means Disney will also be looking for folks to work on those cruise ships, including performers. Well, a NEW opportunity has just turned up for performers who want to work on a Disney Cruise ship.

Are there rough seas ahead for the Disney Cruise Line’s expansion?
Last month at D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, Disney announced an order of four new ships for the Disney Cruise Line which, combined with several ships already under construction, will put the company’s fleet at 13 ships by 2031. However, major issues with Disney’s contracted shipbuilder may put a dent in the company’s plans.

The Disney Destiny will have a heroes and villains theme, and will offer four and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. This ship also is a MUST for Marvel fans with five Marvel-themed experiences, as well as an atrium devoted to Black Panther and Wakanda.
