food IS a theme park

Now that Halloween is just around the corner (the anticipation is real), Disney World has been redecorating their cavalcades with a bit of a spooky twist in time for the holiday.
We’ve seen characters dressed in their best costumes and even appearances from rare villains like the Bowler Hat Guy. BUT, Disney’s throwing a new surprise character in the mix over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for this weekend ONLY!
Whether you’re snagging a Dole Whip or treating yourself to as many Mickey treats as your heart desires, Mobile Order is the real MVP when it comes to getting yourself a quick snack in the parks.
Recently, Disney has decided to extend Mobile Order to select table-service restaurants in the parks and resorts. Until today, Sanaa was the only place you can get food to-go from a table-service location. But, it looks like you’ll be able to enjoy more of your favorite table-service eats and treats without having to stop and dine at the restaurants!
While some of us may have a pretty expansive collection of Minnie Ears, Star Wars fans might have a growing stock of lightsabers for BOTH the Light and the Dark Sides.
Although you can head to places like Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to build your own, custom lightsaber, other places in Batuu like Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities feature pre-made Legacy Lightsabers instead. These non-customizable lightsabers allow guests to become one with the Force carrying around the sabers of heroes and villains like Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, Mace Windu and more!
Welcome back, Foolish Mortals! We’ve completed yet another round of our Halloween Snack bracket with some spine-chilling results.
We’ve seen favorites come and go in round one and round two, but the third round has made the best of the best Halloween treats from Disney World duke it out to become the winner!
Recently, the Grand Floridian Society Orchestra announced that it would be playing its last shows on October 3rd in Disney World.
After the show was halted at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, members of the orchestra were moved over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to perform as the Disney Society Orchestra, with characters making an appearance during their set list.
We might be able to get some of our favorite treats like Dole Whips in Disney World, but there’s something just so great about Disney’s savory snacks.
Since Disney World has limited its menus and capacity, not every dining location has reopened in the parks. However, Disney has been bringing back fan-favorite spots slowly, but surely, recently.
It seems like each time we visit the theme parks, they’re introducing something new — or bringing back something from the past!
Lately, the big news from Universal Orlando has been the modified Halloween Horror Nights experiences being offered this Halloween season! However, as the parks continue moving forward with the next level of reopening, Universal has also made several operational changes in the parks.
As Disney World has continued to move forward with its re-opening procedures, other parts of the Disney company haven’t seen as much progress. Namely, the Disney Cruise Line has been closed since March and has continued to delay its re-opening.
While there are a few clues about what it will take for cruise lines to open, the CDC has been taking precautions by issuing a No Sail Order until the end of this month. However, just like the theme park industry, cruise lines are looking to re-open soon to welcome guests back on board.
