Castaway Cay
Even though Disney Cruise Line sailings are currently suspended, guests are still able to plan for future trips. Recently, we’ve even seen updates on cruise ship construction and changes to the Port Canaveral terminal. And today, Disney Cruise Line has made some updates to their cancellation policy and final payment deadlines!
Character meet and greets in the Disney parks are a little different right now.
Pixar Motorcade
Each of the parks has character cavalcades — “mini parades” that allow guests to see their favorite characters strolling through the park for a short time. However, we’ve also seen a number of physically distanced meet and greets in Disney World, like Buzz in Tomorrowland, Captain Jack in Adventureland, and Winnie the Pooh next to the Imagination Pavilion. The character meets have also changed over in Galaxy’s Edge, and today we noticed some new differences…namely an outfit change with one of our heroes!
Earlier today, we shared that Disney was releasing a new line of Wishables to celebrate 40 years of partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Disney’s been celebrating this monumental anniversary in several ways: with a new trivia game on Play Disney Parks, a new short film, and a new line of merchandise. We can celebrate even more with these adorable mini plushes based on Disney’s Aladdin, and now guests can buy them in the parks!
There are plenty of ways for Disney fans to upgrade their family game night!
Villains Clue
We’ve seen villainous versions of Monopoly, board games based on classic attractions, and tons of Disney-themed games to keep you busy while you’re quarantined at home. We recently spotted a Disney Theme Park version of Candyland in Disney World, but now the game has made its way online for anyone to purchase!

There was the model of Cinderella Castle that costs as much as a new car, some VERY expensive designer ears, and some definitely pricey Disney jewelry. If you have a desire to spend the big bucks on Disney souvenirs, then there’s certainly a way for you to do that! But now, we’ve got another item to add to the list…a crystal paperweight!
For over 40 years, Disney has partnered with Make-A-Wish to help dreams come true for children with critical illnesses. Recently, they’ve been celebrating the anniversary of this partnership by releasing the Wishes Come True Blue collection of merchandise and a new short film!
Wishes Come True Blue Ears
Just a few days ago, Disney also released a special Make-A-Wish version of Disney Parks Trivia on the Play Disney Parks app to commemorate some of the best moments of this partnership. Today, Disney has released some new merchandise, and 100% of the purchase price will be donated to Make-A-Wish!
When Disney Springs reopened in May of this year, the shopping and dining complex began requiring all guests to wear face coverings — a safety precaution that has been in place around Walt Disney World since.
Holiday Face Mask
In order to make sure guests comply with these rules, Disney has aimed to make wearing a face mask more fun by releasing TONS of fun designs and styles with Disney characters! We’ve seen special face mask designs for Halloween and Christmas as well, and we’ve really been loving Disney’s creativity. Now we’ve got even more choices with a new face mask that dropped on shopDisney!
We’ve been not-so-patiently awaiting the arrival of Pixar’s newest film, Soul!

The movie is set to drop on Disney+ THIS MONTH, and we can’t wait! We’ve been checking out previews of the film and shopping the merch, all in anticipation of its release on Christmas day.
