A few months ago, Disney announced layoffs in the Parks, Experiences and Products division of the company that would be affecting approximately 28,000 Cast Members.

We recently learned that many performers at some of Disney World’s biggest shows and attractions have been laid off. Now, Actors’ Equity Association, which represents many of these incredible actors and singers, has issued a statement regarding these layoffs.
We’ve seen Gingerbread Minnie Ears, Snowflake Balloon Ears, Emerald Ears, Wishes Come True Blue Ears, and SO MANY other new Minnie ears released lately!

We basically have enough Minnie and Mickey ears to fill up a whole house. But, now we found another NEW set of Minnie Ears that we absolutely need to truly live out all of our dreams of being royalty!
We’ve made quite a few trips out to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to check out the construction progress, and we were even able to run into our old friend, Coconut Man, what a joy!

We’ve seen quite a few construction signs, entrance changes, and more at the hotel, and recently we spotted another update!
It’s basically been a holiday merchandise EXPLOSION over in Disney World (and we love it)!

From plush toys to holiday spirit jerseys, and the most adorable holiday light-up ears, our wish list is already incredibly long and keeps growing! Recently, California’s theme park reopening guidelines were released, but the guidelines only allow large theme parks, like Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, to reopen if the county they are located in reaches the lowest (yellow) of California’s tiers. We’ve been keeping an eye out for any more news from California’s Governor Newsom related to COVID-19 and theme park reopenings. Today, we got an update on more COVID-19 news as it relates to California, an update on the tier status for the county in which Disneyland is located, and more.

From Spirit Jerseys to Snow Wands, we’ve apparently soared over Halloween AND Thanksgiving and onto the holidays! Today, even MORE new merchandise was released online and in Disney World, and it’s ALL going on our wish list!
Earlier this year, Disney World hosted the NBA as they finished the remainder of their season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Although the NBA season has ended, we had heard that more basketball — this time in the form of several college basketball events — could be headed to Disney World soon. But, it seems those plans have now changed.
From a Brain Cupcake(!) to all kinds of pumpkin spice flavored treats, we’ve had a LOT of Halloween and fall snacks all around Disney World.
