There’s nothing that hits the spot quite like a cold treat on a hot summer day. And now that summer is in full force in Florida, there’s no better time to grab one. And in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, there’s actually no better time to grab FIVE.
Because five new Waffle Wafer Toppers are topping ice cream and soft serve snacks all around the park, and they feature none other than Mickey and Pals! Five different locations are serving treats with five different Waffle Wafer Toppers. [Read more…]
Hope you’re enjoying a great start to the weekend! We’re back with another DFB Video this weekend, and I’m sharing six restaurants I’ve changed my mind about!
Because as I always say: the only consistent thing about Disney restaurants is that they’re inconsistent! And that’s why we keep going back to Disney’s hundreds of restaurants over and over again — there’s always the opportunity to have them significantly change over time. So we’re talking about six restaurants we’ve changed our minds about over the past few months based on recent experiences in our latest DFB YouTube video!
Disney’s Port Orleans — Riverside
offers some truly delicious and underrated dining.
is the resort’s table service dining option, and it’s a terrific under-the-radar spot that’s pretty much always a sure thing, even when other restaurants are packed to the gills. Muddy Rivers is a great pool bar, and River Roost is a charming place to relax with a drink.
When it comes to quick service dining at the resort, Riverside Mill is where it’s at. We’ve eaten here many times before, and the variety and quality have typically been pretty top-notch for a hotel food court. The atmosphere of Riverside is another winning attribute, helping diners to relax and refuel in a space that’s rustic and comfortable.
When we discovered the menus here had changed, we were eager to try the new items.
The Riverside Mill has great curb appeal with its blue exterior and long front porch. [Read more…]
is the Beauty and the Beast overlay of Village Haus that, apparently, became a permanent prisoner of Disneyland Park because it shows no signs of being released. The overlay began in 2017 as a promo for the live-action Beauty and the Beast film released that year, and the French- and movie-inspired dishes gained popularity right away. (You can see our very first review of the quick service menu here!)
And now we’re back to enjoy items from the Taverne’s lunch and dinner menu. So put the lid back over your enchanted rose, and prepare to belt out some tunes: it’s time to eat.
The lunch and dinner menu at Red Rose Taverne has seen a few changes since our first visit over two years ago. [Read more…]
June 9, 1934 delivered the animated debut of Donald Duck in the Silly Symphony, “The Wise Little Hen.”
And this weekend (and, in some cases, longer), guests in Disneyland Resort will be presented with several ways to celebrate Donald’s 85th birthday! [Read more…]

Say “Cheers!” with a COOKIE (or two) with the brand new Frozcato Sugar Cookie Sandwich from The Basket at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs!
This new treat is made with the Wine Bar’s Dole Whip Frozcato blend of pineapple, moscato, and vodka turned into a soft-serve treat tucked in between two sugar cookies and covered in pretty candy garnishes. [Read more…]
Disney Villains are taking over Magic Kingdom for Disney Villains After Hours!
Disney After Hours events are extra-ticket events which offer guests the chance to enjoy the parks – along with included snacks and more — after closing hours at three Disney World Parks: Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Limited guest capacity for these events offer guests the chance to enjoy popular park attractions with little-to-no wait. [Read more…]
This summer, FOUR new dining options are coming to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. In addition to two new lounges and rooftop dining at Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood atop the Resort’s upcoming Gran Destino Tower, Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa del Lago will offer a unique lakefront dining experience.
What looks to be a truly lovely spot is named after the three bridges which now provide easy strolling access from three different areas of the Resort. [Read more…]
