We’re back on Batuu
and in its charming village, Black Spire Outpost, this time for an Annual Passholder preview. And when we stopped into Oga’s Cantina for our reservation this morning, we discovered a couple of new (and updated) options on the menu!
First, we couldn’t help but notice a massive (truly!) addition: the Rancor Beer Flight has been added to the Walt Disney World Oga’s menu! [Read more…]
Happy Halloween (in August)!
When the end of summer hits and fall begins, we’re always more than ready to visit Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We hope you’re ready for a spooky post because we went to the first party of the year (still in a candy daze tbh), and we’re ready to tell you allll about this year’s entertainment offerings!
Halloween has officially arrived in Disney World! We’re checking out the very first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the year and we’re jazzed to tell you all about what we’ve found, including new merchandise!
Let’s explore the merchandise you’ll be able to purchase at this year’s party.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party welcomed its first guests of the season tonight, and we were among those who came ready to party. And by party, we mean eat!
That’s because Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off a season of often intricate and always creative Halloween treats, some of them exclusive to the Party and others available all day every day (which, by the way, is our preferred schedule of eating snacks).
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party 2019
has officially kicked off, and while we know it seems a little strange to be saying “trick or treat” in the heart of swimsuit season, we all know the main mouse loves a good party. And with tickets available for the Halloween celebration, we have to admit: we’re looking forward to Fall’s early arrival in Magic Kingdom!
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a fun and festive hard-ticketed event (that means you need to purchase a separate ticket to attend). [Read more…]
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
kicks off TOMORROW which means Disney World’s Halloween season is about to officially begin!
And finally, Disney has released information on the new and returning treats we can expect to see in Magic Kingdom this Halloween season.
This fall is going to be a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge AND the 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival both opening on August 29! And, a couple of months later the 2019 Swan and Dolphin Food and Wine Classic takes place November 8 and November 9, and then it’s the official start of winter holiday season later in November!
And if you want to stay right in the middle of the action this fall (or any time of year), the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin are two hotels that should be on your list of places to stay!
Located just a stone’s throw from Hollywood Studios and Epcot, the Swan and Dolphin are sometimes an overlooked hotel choice but they offer convenient access to the all the new and exiting things happening at Epcot and Hollywood Studios this fall and beyond.
And today, our good friends from Small World Vacations are sharing some great tips about planning your visit to the Swan and Dolphin!
We’re heading back to Disneyland Resort where What’s New is loads of spooky merchandise and themed sweet treats! Grab a fork (and a flashlight for those haunted bits), and let’s dig in!

is located at the Grand Floridian Resort just a Monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and Polynesian Village Resort. (And soon — possibly via walkway from Magic Kingdom!)
This Victorian-inspired restaurant serves table service eats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with identical breakfast and lunch menus resulting in some truly epic brunch bites. We’re talking a Buttermilk Chicken and Waffle, an Eggs Benedict Flight, and more. Click here to see why brunch is brilliant at Grand Floridian Cafe!
But on this visit, we’re grabbing dinner. The dinner menu here is a separate entity from breakfast and lunch, but some popular ‘brunch’ items do appear at dinner, too! The Lobster ‘Thermidor’ Burger is available all day (see that review here!), as is the Miso-Glazed Salmon (reviewed below!). The Artisan-Made Spinach-Ricotta Ravioli is a favorite that’s good to go for three meals a day (more on that below, too!), and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken makes a reprise at dinner (but without the waffle).
The point is: Grand Floridian Cafe’s got your tastebuds’ backs all day long! 😉 So let’s see how dinner stacks up and whether Grand Floridian Cafe is good for more than just a fabulous brunch.
The atmosphere of Grand Floridian Cafe echos the Victorian tones of the entire Resort. [Read more…]
