Before the D23: The Ultimate Fan Event, Disney teased us with the name of its Parks and Experiences Panel, Horizons, and made us question just what the company would announce (and they blew us OUR minds with the actual announcements). Sometimes, we get teasers for TV shows and movies. Well, now, Disney could be teasing the return of a VERY popular parade, and we just need confirmation already!

Disneyland posted a teaser video on social media of…SOMETHING coming to Disneyland soon. The clip was paired with the sneaky caption “When can we do this again?” It shows Mack the Truck from Cars illuminating in a way that we haven’t seen since, well, since Disneyland had this parade called Paint the Night. And, hmm, that tagline “When can we do this again?” is actually a song from Wreck-It Ralph, but it was also the theme song for the Paint the Night parade.

So, this HAS to be a hint that Paint the Night is returning, right? This was a fan-favorite nighttime parade that debuted 10 years ago in Disneyland for the resort’s 60th anniversary. It looks like it’s (hopefully!!!) coming back for Disneyland’s 70th anniversary in 2025!

Of course, Disney ONLY posted a teaser, but it’s a sure bet that we’ll get confirmation soon about the return of Paint The Night, and hopefully, along with the date the parade will debut (presumably in 2025). But for now, Disney, why do you have to tease us like this? Anyway, we hope this is just the first of MANY announcements about Disneyland’s plans for its 70th Anniversary Celebration.
