A NEW menu is coming to EPCOT!
Earlier this year, Disney announced that a brand new lounge was coming to EPCOT’s most iconic location: Spaceship Earth. According to Disney, the new lounge will be inspired by the ‘stories, shapes, and enduring legacy of Spaceship Earth. There will be lots of rich textures and warm metallic tones for a mysterious and elegant intimacy.
Concept art of the new lounge shows guests enjoying food and drinks while watching EPCOT’s fireworks out of the lounge’s massive windows. Now, we know what’s on the menu that those guests are enjoying!

That food menu is so eclectic that most people won’t find anything on that menu that they would want to eat. Whoever put that food menu together took into account what they would want to eat, instead of what most people would like to eat. SMH
Wonder how long this menu will last before they find they must add some more recognizable food and beverages. It would not surprise me to see some spiced nuts or a lighter cocktail like a Bellini appear eventually. While the hummus and flatbread appeal to me, my adult son might only pick at the charcuterie plate and would want a Diet Coke or other soft drink. If they really want to honor Spaceship Earth’s stories, they need a drink that leans fruitier and perhaps some brined or pickled food. Fancy is fine but there should also be options for those who want something simple while they accompany the more adventurous in their party.
We’ll be there in late May, before it opens, but will return in September. In our 70’s, I guess we qualify as adults
Thanks DFB for update. This looks exciting. End of the day spot to relax before heading out. We will be there in September as well also in our 70’s adults. See you there Thomas!!!
There are a few references to “most people”. I believe there are more than enough opportunities for food and snacks that would appeal to “most people”. It is a nice concept that an adult only lounge would have offerings of varied, interesting, and hopefully, exquisite taste treats. I would suggest that those whom do not wish to try the new preparations…should not.
This menu as-is won’t last. It’ll be revised shortly after opening, I’m sure of it.
The food sounds very interesting to me, but it’s something I would like to have when I could come to the park, late in the afternoon, fresh, clean (not sweaty from walking around in the hot sun all day), and dressed not in ‘Disney attire’, but more suitable for what this lounge seems to be wanting to portray. I would love to sit and enjoy the special cocktails and food while watching the fireworks, assume the music will be piped in and that the windows are large enough to see at least some of the sky. Bet the appetizer with caviar is expensive!!!
