I’ve bought one Loungefly backpack and I just don’t understand all the hype about them. Yes, they are cute, but they are very expensive, and to me, uncomfortable to wear. Maybe it’s because I am plus size, but I much rather use a Vera Bradley crossbody, or even a VB backpack, because they are much lighter and made of cloth instead of vinyl? I don’t feel so sweaty if I use the cloth bags and you can throw them in the wash if needed. I don’t know, I just don’t get it. Maybe someone can explain? I am not a hater so please don’t come at me, I just don’t understand.
I think the reason I love the Loungefly mini backpacks so much is because they do a really good job with theming and attention to details in the art designs of the bags. I have a Princess and the Frog Loungefly that’s Ray the lightning bug and he has little clear wings and it’s just so darn cute, plus a lot of people like wearing them with their Disney Bound outfits to pull the whole theme together. No hate here at all. I can certainly understand why they wouldn’t be the first choice for everyone, but in the end I think the biggest draw for a lot of us is the artwork.
