To stay on property at Disney World or not. That is the question.
When planning a trip to Disney World, whether you stay on property or not often is a debate between you and your budget. We won’t lie. Disney World hotels come at a premium, so if you’re looking for an ultra-affordable option, preferably for a single person, you have another option available to you, and stays there are under $30!
As we mentioned, if you are looking to stay in the Orlando area on the cheap, it doesn’t get much more affordable than the Bposhtels Orlando Florida Mall.
If you’re not familiar with what a hostel is, they are a budget accommodation option, typically with dormitory-style rooms with bunk or single beds. In addition to shared sleeping arrangements, hostels often offer shared bathrooms, common areas, and communal kitchen facilities.
They tend to be popular among budget-conscious travelers, such as backpackers, students, and those looking for a more social/communal experience.
We’ve seen they have rates as low as $24 per night.
Bposhtels has the following amenities:
- Free Breakfast
- Free Parking
- Free Wi-Fi
- Free Package Storage
- 24-hour Reception desk
It’s also only a stone’s throw away from the Florida Mall and all it has to offer as far as shopping and restaurants. Also, if you do decide to venture to the Walt Disney World, it’s only about a 20-minute drive to the Transportation and Ticket Center to catch the Monorail to Magic Kingdom or EPCOT.
Now, we do want to caution you that staying at a hostel generally works best if you’re traveling alone or with friends, as you’re usually sharing bathrooms and even bedrooms with other travelers. The few reviews we could find for this hotel online were quite mixed — from “less than I’d hoped” to “worst ever.” But if you’re truly looking for a budget accommodation and you’re flexible, it could be worth giving this a try!

“Would you stay in a hostel?”
Not one by the Florida Mall! I wouldn’t recommend staying in a hotel by the Florida mall.
The area is not the best in Orlando.
If you are going to Disney, the traffic in that corridor, 528/i4/John Young is going to be horrible.
