The 2021 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has officially begun!
Some of the booths have returning items, but over at Mosaic Canteen they’re serving up an ENTIRELY NEW menu of Moroccan dishes this year. Will these items become new must-have snacks? There’s only one way to find out!
Menu
Mosaic Canteen’s all new menu for this festival features 3 food items and 2 drink options!

Mosaic Canteen Menu
And you better believe we’re trying them all!
And without further ado, let’s get to our review.
Food
In terms of the food, we’re starting off with the Mediterranean Flatbread. During the 2020 Festival of the Arts, this booth served up a flatbread with some of the same ingredients, but things have been shaken up a bit. The Flatbread now features Za’atar Pesto, artichokes, roasted peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, and fennel cream.
We loved the 2020 Flatbread and thought it was a great, fresh-tasting choice for those on a vegetarian diet. Is the 2021 version another great choice? The answer is a resounding “YES!” It’s very flavorful, in part thanks to the delicious pesto and peppers.
It’s also a good portion size, too, and easily shareable! If you want to try this flatbread you can get it right now at the Festival for $5.75.
Another new item on the menu is the Harissa-roasted Rack of Lamb with Baba Ganoush, Picholine olives, toybox tomatoes, preserved lemons, and pomegranate. We had the Grilled Lamb Kefta Kebab at the Festival of the Holidays, and the Kefta does tend to be a favorite of ours, so we were interested to see whether this new lamb dish would be just as good.
This lamb dish literally knocked the ball out of the park. It was cooked perfectly, which is always tricky when it comes to lamb dishes — no one wants an overcooked piece of lamb. The tapenade served on the side, as well as the sauce on top was also delicious. As a whole, this is one plate that blends all kinds of amazing flavors together.
You can get this lamb dish right now for $8.
Finally, you can end your meal with a little dessert (of course) with the Mouskoutchou, which is an orange cake with cinnamon-chocolate mousse. Look at how gorgeous it is!
The orange top of the cake is actually half sponge cake and half orange chocolate mousse! We can’t even! And we LOVED the orange mousse in this — it just took this dessert up a notch from good to fabulous!
Interestingly enough, though, we didn’t taste that much of the cinnamon — this is more of a treat for citrus lovers. The Mouskoutchou is priced at $4.75.
Beverages
In terms of beverages, there are two NEW options Mosaic Canteen. First, there’s the C1906 Reserva Especial Dark Amber Lager.
This beer is darker than a traditional lager, but we still found it very drinkable and refreshing. This drink is priced at $4.50 for 6 o.z. and $8.50 for 12 o.z.
If you’re more of a hard cider fan, then you can opt for the Maeloc Blackberry Hard Cider.
Warning, though: this is a cider for people with a sweet tooth because it is VERY sweet. We found it a little too much, but if you like sweeter drinks, this might totally be your jam. You can get a 6 o.z. serving of the Maeloc Blackberry Hard Cider for $4.50, or get a 12 o.z. serving for $8.50.
If any of these items look like something you’d like to try, then be sure to stop by Mosaic Canteen at the Morocco pavilion during the Festival of the Arts. The Festival will be around from now until February 22nd. We’re making our way around all of the booths at this year’s Festival, so stay tuned for more reviews, photos, videos, and more!
