It’s time for more 2011 Epcot Food and Wine Festival booth food pictures! Today we’re headed to two more popular booths: France and Ireland!
As always, if you want to see full coverage of each booth, check out our Epcot Food and Wine Festival Booth Pages! Click on any booth or country name for detailed information, menus, photos, and prices.
Ireland
Ireland has long been one of the most beloved booths at the festival. This year, the Kerrygold Cheeses return, along with the famed Fisherman’s Pie and the Lava Cake!

Kerrygold® Cheese Selection (Aged-Irish Cheddar, Dubliner and Ivernia Cheese) with apple chutney and brown bread -– $3.50
Everytime I passed by this booth I could smell this buttery, delicious pie! Don’t forget — you can get it with a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan!
This Lava Cake was a true winner again this year! It was my first “bite” after running the Wine and Dine Half-Marathon Relay!
You can see more pictures, the full menu, and prices on our Ireland Booth Page!
France
France switched it up a bit this year, bringing in a brand new coq au vin with mac and cheese! I LOVED this dish. Lots of flavor!

Coq au Vin sur gratin de macaroni (Red Wine braised Chicken, Mushrooms, Pearl Onions, and Macaroni Gratin) -– $4.95
The escargot were back, and better than ever. The thick, fresh, buttery French brioche pockets are the perfect flavor enhancer.
And the Parisien Cosmo is back on the menu this year — by popular demand no doubt!
And once again, the milk chocolate creme brulee is phenomenal!
You can see more pictures, the full menu, and prices on our France Booth Page!

I’m pretty much going to eat everything in the France booth, and the lava cake looks amazing!
I skipped the Coq au Vin last visit and I was bummed I did. Thankfully I’ll be back in a couple weeks to give it a whirl…
You just made me miss not coming to the Food and Wine Festival this year with the picture above of the Escargots Persillade en Brioche. This is my absolute favorite thing to eat during this festival!!! The richness of the bread, coupled with the escargot in the garlic butter, IS TO DIE FOR!!! You guys ship lots of things home for guests, how much for a platter of this shipped to Indiana! LOL! Please never remove this from the menu, and hopefully I can come have some next year!
Kat — Yes! Eat everything at the France booth! Well worth it!
Deej — Can’t wait to see what you think!
Tom Miller — Ha ha! I don’t work for Disney, so I can’t really ship you anything, but my fingers are crossed that you can get to the festival next year!
Ah, you captured my two favorite booths in one post! 🙂
I was pretty sad when I found out the short ribs would be gone from France this year, but I had to admit I was won over by the coq au vin. I also love the escargots.
The fisherman’s pie was also awesome. Could have been my imagination, but I thought it was even better and more generous with the seafood than last year.
In the pouring rain on Saturday the 8th I made my trip around the world. The winners for me were the Pork Slider in Hawaii, Cheddar Cheese Soup in Canada, and the Seared Scallop in New Zealand. I also really liked the Mai Tai in Hawaii and the Lemon Chiffon at the Dessert booth.
Sadly, some dishes were just boring and bad. Those ‘loser’ dishes for me were the Shrimp on the Barbie in Australia, the Beef Rendang in Singapore, and the Calamari in Portugal. Everything else was in the middle.
It was so much fun, even with sloshing around in the rain – and the booths were EMPTY! It was great to be able to walk right up to France and Canada and Mexico between 12-2 on a Saturday afternoon on a holiday weekend. That doesn’t happen often!
My favorites…Pork potstickers from China, chocolate creme brûlée from France, lobster roll from Hops & Barley, griddled Greek cheese from Greece.
Our group enjoyed F & W even with the rain, too. I swear, though, I have never been that wet outside of a swimming pool or bath tub! 😉
Oh we’ve skipped France for the last few years, but we’ll be back this year and Ireland is always my favorite booth!
Why do I always look at these Festival posts when I’m hungry? From now on, I will only look at them right after lunch or dinner. The cheese and bread doesn’t look great but everything else is sooo tempting.
Not quite sure what lava cake has to do with Irish cuisine, but it DOES look good. Heading to WDW and F&W Monday through Thursday. Can’t wait.
first of all… congrats AJ on running the half marathon relay! that’s awesome! Can I just say I fell in love with the fisherman’s pie last year?!? I knew it would be good but come on! and the escargot was even pretty yummy when I tried them last year… Ireland and France are definitely two of my favorite booths and I hope they don’t ever take them away from Food and Wine!
I am dying to try the Fisherman’s pie and the Escargot
I’m dying to go try some French food! The escargot dish looks very classy and appitizing! Is the Parisien Cosmo Slush as refreshing as it looks?
Try the Sparkling Pomogrante drink at France — yummy and not overly sweet or too dry! Just perfect!!
