Select Walt Disney World Resort hotels will begin welcoming guests again on June 22nd.
And, along with the reopening of the hotels, many Resort restaurants (though not all) will be welcoming guests again as well. As Disney has been working to update the dining reservation system in response to new safety measures which will be implemented around the Resort, guests have been unable to make Advance Dining Reservations to book the restaurants which will be open to guests. But today has delivered news on WHEN Resort hotel guests can start lining up their dining reservations!
Guests with Disney Resort hotel reservations for arrivals from June 22nd through July 10th can make dining reservations for select hotel dining starting this Thursday, June 18, 2020. (Online reservations are currently available for participating restaurants in Disney Springs.)
PLEASE NOTE: a valid Disney Resort hotel reservation will be required to make reservations — at this time, guests who are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel will NOT be able to make reservations.
Reservations will not be available online, however. Interested guests must call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 824-1391. (Disney Vacation Club Members may contact Member Services at (800) 800-9800.)
See the full list of Disney World restaurants that will be open starting June 22nd here!
As a reminder, this is only applicable to Resort hotel dining — theme park restaurants will not available for booking for when the Disney World parks begin reopening on July 11th. We’ll keep you posted on this developing story as more information is revealed!

Do you have an upcoming stay planned at a Disney World Resort hotel? Please let us know with a comment!
I haven’t seen or read anything about quick service restaurants, yet. Do you think we’ll have to reserve our meals for QS or just do mobile order?
Wendy, we expect Quick Service restaurants will operate for walk-ins (likely with physical distancing markers in the lines), and Disney is encouraging Mobile Order to cut down on lines. We will update when Resorts open next week and when Parks open in July.
Do you know what time the phone lines will be open? I’ve seen the date posted many times but not the actual time we can start calling.
Thanks!
Do you know if Disney Springs hotels are included in all this?
So if I want to eat at the Grand Floridian but staying at Pop Century will I be out of luck? What about Topolino’s if I am not staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort I can’t make a reservation there. Am I interpreting this correctly?
Thank you for your help
This just all sounds like to much work to navigate through just to get a decent meal.
I was able to reserve Morimoto’s and Ragland Road for our trip in September on OpenTable.
Shelly, for this first phase of ADRs becoming available, only those with a Resort reservation from 6/22 through 7/10 will be able to make ADRs. Those ADRs do not seem to be tied to the Resort where you have a reservation, which I think is what you’re asking about. So if you’re at Pop Century (or, say, a DVC Resort on June 22), you can make an ADR to eat at an available Table Service restaurant elsewhere (other Resorts or Disney Springs or (when they open) in the Parks). If we learn otherwise, we for sure will update.
Graham, Disney specified “Disney Resort hotel reservations”, so as far as we know, it’s just the official Disney Resorts opening in the first phase (DVC Resorts and Fort Wilderness).
David, Disney says 7AM EST is the official start time for their reservations line. If it were me, I’d probably try to call earlier than that just in case — possibly as early at 6AM.
Previously Disney stated that there would be a 60 Day Window for ADR’s. Do you know when that policy will be implemented? My 60 Day window opens on Saturday, 07/20 for my August DVC Trip.
Does this mean that AP holders will
be included unless we are staying at a resort? That seems quite unfair
Jill, this is how Disney is handling the first phase of their ADRs. We will update when there’s new information.
Dennis, it sounds like, for now, they’re just working with folks with specific arrival dates, so we’re still waiting to see when the full reservations system goes live and when everyone else can access it. We’ll keep updating!
