Did somebody say “Sangria”?! Yep! Animal Kingdom just did with the release of the limited-time-only Serengeti Sangria.
Lion King Serengeti Sangria
This is just one of many new offerings that Disney has released in celebration of The Lion King! A few others include the Simba Ice Cream Sandwich and the Simba Sunset Dole Whip.
But, let’s get down to the boozy business, folks. The Serengeti Sangria is a regular red sangria topped off with Van Der Hum South African Tangerine liqueur. And while it is both good and refreshing, it pretty much tastes like a regular sangria and nothing too out of the ordinary.

Still… nothin’ wrong with that! Just remember that Disney sangrias tend to err on the side of sweet, in case that’s not your preference.
This drink can be found at Dawa Bar, Harambe Market, and Boneyard Bar in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We ordered it for $10 before tax at Dawa Bar, even though the signage for the new offering had not been posted yet.
