As a Florida resident I drive down 2 or 3 times a year – annual passholder – stay 4 to7 days at a time – have been staying on property every trip for the last 19 years but apparently Disney really does not want us to stay on property, those who fly in are using buses more than those who drive and yet we now have to pay to PARK? Food prices were escalated years ago because of the Dining Plans, snack prices jacked up so they could group as “snacks” with dining plans and now going up even more in n attempt to force people to buy dining packages but for many Disney is only encouraging people to go off property to eat and buy food to bring back to their rooms – taxi off property and back to stock up will be cheaper then buying food/drinks on property or in the parks.
Good info, AJ. There seems to be a real debate about tipping for housekeeping. We always thought that you did, but have come to hear that many hotels and people don’t believe in tips for this service. Can you advise on the proper response for the World?
Also, guests who need wheelchairs or strollers should also count those daily charges, especially for power chairs.
Great video! I had no idea about all the price increases in food recently. Really helpful to know for our visit in January!
Essie, AJ was a hotel housekeeper, so we recommend tipping Mousekeeping. 🙂
