Something brand new is coming to Disney Springs in Disney World!
Back in 2017, DisneyQuest closed down in Disney Springs, and its home on the West Side was vacant for two years before the NBA Experience replaced it in 2019. Unfortunately, the NBA Experience wasn’t as popular as Disney had hoped, and it never reopened after the 2020 pandemic. But now, LEVEL99 is moving into that same building, and we’ve got some new details about construction!
A notice of commencement for construction has been filed with Orange County, FL, and the address matches the new location for LEVEL99, in the former NBA Experience building. The notice of commencement was filed on April 16th with an expiration date one year from that.
LEVEL99 is an interactive, social entertainment experience. More specifically, it is a destination for “real-world, challenge-based, social entertainment” for adults featuring physical and mental challenges set in artistic environments.
The space is kind of arcade-meets-entertainment center, and it’s designed for adults to get together and take on challenges with or against their friends and family. The Disney Springs location will be the fifth LEVEL99 spot, but the first one the company has established in Florida.
The Disney Springs location is also set to be the largest LEVEL99 so far, with over 60 challenge rooms and duels available. The space will be over 45,000 square feet across two stories and will feature dining with a chef-crafted menu, including LEVEL99’s award-winning, Detroit-style pizza.
We can’t wait to check out this new addition when it opens in Disney Springs, so we’ll make sure to keep you in the loop with any news about its opening.

I’m probably the oddball out but this place sounds like a big trouble spot especially with teens and young adults who may not have good etiquette or social skills. I expect trouble just like is happening with unescorted youth in malls. Nor imho does it seem to be a good fit with the shopping and dining at Disney Springs. NBA Experience was nice and fun. Frankly, they should have kept Disney Quest! A mystery room escape challenge might have been fun….but I have no interest in this….nor will I be going to that part of Disney Springs, hoping to avoid the unruly crowd that results from this activity-inducing adrenaline….
