Disney has announced a slew of new deals and offerings coming to Walt Disney World this summer!
Cinderella Castle in Disney World
In addition to several ways to save on hotel and ticket packages and the opening dates of several new shows at the resort, Disney also announced that some new FUN ZONES are coming to the resort’s theme parks!
Beginning on May 27th, “families should be on the lookout for limited-time experiences perfect for young kids in the theme parks, including kid zones featuring new activities and fun ways to interact with more Disney characters” according to the Disney Parks Blog. These areas will include pop-up entertainment offerings, music and dancing, games, and “other adventures to help your little ones make those core Disney memories. “
Some areas specifically mentioned include zones at the Magic Kingdom in Storybook Circus and in Tomorrowland, the latter featuring Stitch. Over in EPCOT, Goofy will be taking over CommuniCore to host the “ultimate game party.”

Speaking of characters, Disney also announced two new benefits for Disney World hotel guests. First, Disney characters will now be out in the park earlier than normal, during the early entry period reserved for Disney Resort hotel guests. Secondly, Disney is expanding the program we’ve seen in a few places in recent months that includes character visits with set appearance times at certain Disney World hotels.

So glad that Stitch is getting a new party at Tomorrowland. It will probably be canceled by the time we visit next, but at least Stitch is getting something!
