Listen, if you ever get the chance, you’ve gotta go to an exclusive Disney World event!
Speaking of exclusive events, Magic Kingdom After Hours are back! We thought we’d give you an idea of what this separately ticketed event has to offer. So let’s break down everything that’s included in the ticket!
As we were saying, Disney World After Hours events are back, and you can enjoy all they have to offer at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios! These special ticketed events take place on select nights from January through July and allow guests to enter the parks at 7PM.
At Magic Kingdom, the event officially kicks off at 10PM and ends at 1AM, which means that you and all the other After Hours guests will have the park all to yourselves for four glorious hours. Ticket prices range from $175 to $185 plus tax, and if you’re an Annual Passholders or Disney Vacation Club member, you can get discounted tickets.
As far as what’s included in the price of admission, first off, we’ve got to talk about the the low crowd levels. I mean, have a look at Tomorrowland. I mean, packed, right?!
Next, we have to talk about the wait times. For example, Space Mountain had one of the shortest wait times ever.
These are the kinds of wait times you’d never see during the day.
You also get to meet rare characters and other characters in special outfits like the boss himself – Mickey Mouse!
In addition to all of that, you actually get complimentary snacks!
Around the park, you’ll find snack carts where Cast Members are ready and waiting to give you your choice of snacks.
You can get unlimited popcorn, select bottled soda, and Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars and Sandwiches.
We wanted to go with the classic choice of popcorn, coke, and…
…of course, a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar.
So if you’re going to After Hours, in addition to enjoying the low crowds and meet and greets, make sure you don’t miss out on any of the complimentary snacks.

Are separate park tickets required?
I’m not trying to be picky but 10pm -1am is only 3 hours. 🙂 Still would love to go to one!
The Magic Kingdom after hours gets the AP discount also?
Hi Rick! You will not need a park ticket in addition to the After Hours ticket unless you want to enter Magic Kingdom before the event lets you in.
Is there a discount for annual passholders? Went to buy some tickets but it didnt seem to give me any annual passholder discount? Thats crazy expensive for just 3 hours!
