Ever wanted to pamper yourself like a Disney Princess? Well, you’re in luck!
Disney has just announced a BRAND NEW collaboration with mega-retailer Bath & Body Works! According to Disney, the “enchanting new collection” features six fragrances “inspired by some of the most beloved Disney Princess characters.”
The 85-product collection includes products ranging from fine fragrance mists, body washes and creams, lip glosses, candles, hand soaps and sanitizers, and decorative accessories themed to one of the following Disney Princesses: Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Moana, and Tiana.
Each of the characters features their own scent, which the companies respectively describe as:
- Ariel: “Incorporates notes of sea salt breeze, golden citrus and coral waters that embodies Ariel’s courage to explore new worlds and be resilient.”
- Belle: “Encourages fans to dare to be different, confident and comfortable being themselves including notes of rose petals, sparkling buttercup and whipped vanilla in the fragrance. “
- Cinderella: “Features notes of gardenia petals, enchanting musk and sapphire blue amber, representing Cinderella’s tendency to never give up and treat everyone with respect.”
- Jasmine: “Embodies how she defines her own path and stands up for what’s right including notes of sparkling jasmine flower, jeweled currants and soft woods.”
- Moana: “Represents Moana’s bold and strong-willed spirit to explore beyond the horizon, featuring notes of lush green palms, plumeria breeze and coconut water. “
- Tiana: “Inspired by her drive and focus to make a dream real. The fragrance includes notes of delicate water lily, gilded amber and shimmering bayou woods.”
The Bath & Body Works Disney Princesses Collection will be available in Bath & Body Works stores and online on February 16th, with a special presale period for Loyalty Members on February 11th and 12th.
We were lucky enough to be sent a preview of some of the collection from Disney! Check out our thoughts on each of the scents below.
To us, the Tiana scent smelled like a less spiced version of winter candy apple, but a green apple version rather than Bath & Body Works’ classic red version. We thought it was fresh and nice, but we didn’t get “bayou” from it. It would probably be a hit with middle school crowds and preteens since it’s a not-so-serious scent.
This reminded us of a lighter version of Amber Romance from Victoria’s Secret. It was floral like a rose for sure. We could see this one being more popular with young adults and high school crowds because it feels more grown-up than the Tiana scent.
The Ariel scent was our favorite of the bunch! It reminded us of Pandora or the Taj Mahal scene from Soarin’ — and maybe even the H2O body care that used to be available in the Disney World hotels! This one was fresh and beachy.
The Cinderella scent was very “clean” like fresh laundry but still light. We could see this one enjoyed by those who like a fresh, clean scent that isn’t overpowering. It has a similar smell to the cotton scent from Bath & Body Works if you’re familiar with that one.
We also got to smell the Cinderella candle, which was just as clean and fresh!
Of course, the Moana scent was really tropical! You can definitely pick out a sweet hibiscus smell in it and a hint of pineapple.
We are seriously obsessed with this Enchanted Rose Wallflower Plug-in night light!! It looks just like the Enchanted Rose from Beauty and the Beast and this one will make your bathroom smell good while making sure you don’t have to do your business in the dark!
Stay tuned to DFB for more on this collection as it launches.

Too bad Tiana’s fragrance wasn’t inspired by her cooking. Yes, I just discussed benign scented soap and lotion.
The problem is B&B Works is not animal cruelty free.
@Danielle, I’m not sure where your latest information comes from, but this is from 2024: “Is Bath & Body Works Cruelty-Free?
Yes, Bath & Body Works is cruelty-free. They don’t test their finished products or ingredients on animals, and neither do their suppliers or any third-parties. It’s also verified that their products are not tested on animals anywhere in the world, including mainland China.”
