There is so much happening with the Disney Parks right now that it can be hard to keep up. Disney World will be getting four new lands in the coming years. Disneyland will be getting a new land, and both parks will be getting new attractions, shows, and more!
Disneyland Paris
Even more Disney Park expansions are happening in Europe, as Disneyland Paris is getting a park reimagined. It’s the transformation from Walt Disney Studios into Disney Adventure World. It’s going to include so many fun lands and attractions that have never been seen before in a Disney Park!
Disney has some massive plans for Disney Adventure World in Paris. They had people freaking out with excitement when they announced that a ride themed to The Lion King, would be coming to a Disney Park for the FIRST TIME EVER! Originally at the D23 Expo in 2024, they dropped concept art for the ride, revealing that it would be themed after the live-action adaptation. However, they treated fans even more recently when it was revealed that the ride would now be themed to the animated classic!

It will be a log flume ride, very similar to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and it will tell Simba’s story in a new way! Of course, the ride will feature some of the most iconic songs from the animated film. The ride will also feature some of our favorite characters like Simba, Timon, Pumbaa, and more!

What we’re really here to talk about, though, is the brand-new ride that will be themed after Disney Pixar’s UP! This will be the first ride ever themed to the beloved animated film, at any Disney park in the world. The ride will be placed in “Adventure Way”, the main promenade that connects the existing theme park area to the expanded lake area. The attraction will be located right across from the Rapunzel Tangled Spin ride (another new ride that will be coming).

It will be a family-friendly, all-new swinging attraction, and it looks like you’ll feel like you’re flying like Carl and Russell. Imagine the view of the park you’ll be able to get from the heights of this ride. This ride will have us truly feeling like “adventure is out there”!

This all-new experience will add to the many family-friendly offerings that Disneyland Paris has. It’ll also elevate the dynamic of this area of Adventure Way, completing the lush landscape and giving guests the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of adventures. After all, it is Disney Adventure World!

We’re going to need to check out Disney Adventure World when it opens, we are beyond excited for it! It’s going to offer so much — a Lion King ride, an UP ride, a Tangled ride, and so much more. Have we mentioned the new Kingdom of Arenedelle that will be opening there — obviously themed after one of Disney’s greatest hit movies of all time, Frozen?

It’s not really an imagineering designed ride. More like a fairgrounds swing ride with Disney stickers.
This “Up” attraction is a no brainer. An updated Peter Pan attraction with a hand full of balloons carrying a basketful of guests who are seated for an intensive up experience featuring wind, rain and slew of colorful dioramas you glide past. Should be An easy ride to imagine if you are Disney.
