Big news out of EPCOT today!

While it looks like we may not be getting that Spaceship Earth retheme that was indefinitely postponed a few years ago, we are getting a Spaceship Earth lounge coming to EPCOT, and we’re quite excited about that! We’ve been waiting to hear some more information about the lounge, coming in 2025, and now we finally have it — an opening date has been announced!
The GEO-82 lounge will be opening June 4th, with reservations opening May 6th.

This new lounge honors the park icon, and the space’s sleek look really highlights the “stories, shapes, and enduring legacy” of Spaceship Earth. It’s an adults-only, sophisticated venue, located in Spaceship Earth.

The decor also draws inspiration from the icon’s unique geometric sphere and aims to offer a “zen space” to guests, filled with “rich textures and warm metallic tones, giving it a mysterious and elegant intimacy.”

You’ll have stunning views of the World Celebration Gardens while you try different drinks and fun eats.

You can also enjoy the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience, part of the Enchanting Extras Collection, for views of EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular, Luminous The Symphony of Us, from inside the lounge. There will be a “tasting tower of savory light bites, sweet selections, Champagne poured tableside, and event-exclusive cocktails.”

I can’t relate. People can’t go one day without drinking in a theme park?
Not sure exactly how this will be “inside” Spaceship Earth. Are they building out a lounge within the ride itself?

Very excited for this new location to get out of the heat and off your feet. So glad they are taking reservations also. It sounds like a great place for the grown ups to take a break while the designated parent takes the kids to Turtle Talk with Crush or on Figment for the fifth time ?
