With all four theme parks and the many resorts on Disney World property, ESPN Wide World of Sports is often unrecognized.

The Wide World of Sports isn’t really a stop guests make when visiting Disney World. ESPN is a place for athletes and fans of all ages, accommodating 70 different sports. The complex features a 9,500-seat stadium, a one-of-a-kind indoor arena, 2 field houses, multiple professional-level fields, and more. Having this place at Disney World just gives you an even better experience both on and off the field.
When it comes to food, Wide World of Sports has some great options. They offer sit down meals, quick services and concessions, and even team meals. They have lots of competition run out of there, so they need to make sure they got top notch eats for both athletes and fans!

“ESPN Wide World of Sports is an iconic venue, one that so many have grown up either visiting or having seen on TV,” said the CEO of Levy, Andy Lansing. “We’re excited to play a role in the next chapter of this special place as we build on our longstanding relationship with Disney Experiences to create a winning experience for all guests – competitors, coaches and spectators.”.

Levy has been serving guests at over 300 venues — including major stadiums, arenas, ballparks, college sports venues, as well as music and live entertainment venues. Levy is the team behind hospitality at iconic events such as the Kentucky Derby, Super Bowls, All-Star Games, the US Open Tennis Championships, and the College World Series — even music festivals like Coachella and Stagecoach. Levy has made its mark at Disney World, running two award-winning restaurants located in Disney Springs – Paddlefish and Terralina Crafted Italian.

Levy will be a great addition to ESPN Wide World of Sports’ food and beverage — their resume speaks for itself! We’re excited for them to take over operation in the summer, and we’ll have to go check out what they’ll be offering. Might give it a try… but the venue needs more of a drawing card to bring guests in. A Major League spring training schedule would help in a round robin schedule between FL teams would be great. The games were always good .
