Universal Orlando’s third theme park, Epic Universe, is set to open next month on May 22nd, 2025.
This new theme park is home to five different lands including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. Universal offers Annual Passes so you can visit and experience their theme parks whenever you please, but will their newest park be part of their Annual Pass program? We have the answer you are looking for!
In short, the answer is no; the current Universal Annual Passes that are for sale or distributed do not grant access to Epic Universe. Universal knows that Epic Universe will be popular, and to help with the demand for guests wanting to visit the park, for the time being, there is no separate Annual Pass or park add-on option.
But don’t worry, Annual Passholders can still experience this brand-new theme park! While supplies last Passholders can get special pricing on one-day tickets to Epic Universe. Plus, preview tickets are now available for purchase to visit the park ahead of its grand opening. If you are not a Universal Orlando Passholder, you can still purchase a Pass online or in person. Before being able to purchase your one-day Epic Universe tickets, you must scan into the park at least once to activate your pass.
Universal has been releasing tickets and opening up previews to more guests, so it could be possible that Annual Passholders may get more flexibility when purchasing Epic Universe tickets. And who knows, maybe an Epic Universe Annual Pass add-on option is not too far off into the future. For the time being, your Universal Annual Pass will not grant you access into Epic Universe and if you want to visit, you must purchase your specialy-priced one-day tickets instead.
Rules, tickets, and policies are constantly changing, so make sure to keep following along with us here at Disney Food Blog for all the latest theme park news!
Do you know if annual pass holders will still get the perks, I.e. free parking, merchandise and food discounts at Epic Universe?
Thanks
