Did you know there’s a hidden bar in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion?
If you’ve ever walked through the Germany Pavilion and thought it was just beer, bratwurst, and Christmas ornaments, think again! Tucked away next to Die Weihnachts Ecke (the Christmas shop) is Weinkeller, a cozy little wine bar you might have missed. This is one of EPCOT’s best-kept secrets for wine lovers, offering a great selection of German wines by the glass, plus some fun extras. Here’s what you need to know before you head over to check it out!
Weinkeller: EPCOT’s “Hidden” Wine Bar
If you walk into Weinkeller too quickly, you might think it’s just a retail shop selling bottles of wine, chocolates, cookbooks, and other German-themed souvenirs. But if you take a closer look, you’ll spot a bar in the back of the shop where you can actually order wine by the glass. That’s right — this isn’t just a shop, it’s a drinking spot!
The wine selection here is pretty impressive, with a mix of reds, whites, sparkling wines, and even dessert wines.
If you’re unsure what to try, the Cast Members behind the bar are more than happy to give you recommendations based on your taste. They also offer beers and liqueurs, so there’s something for everyone.
If you’re in the mood for a little extra, you can sometimes pair your drink with an Artisanal Cheese Plate or try a Wine Flight, which lets you sample a few different wines. And if EPCOT’s Wine Walk is available, Weinkeller is one of the locations where you can participate!
The Drinks We Tried
We couldn’t stop by without trying a couple of the more unique offerings at Weinkeller. Here’s what we tasted:
Mozart Chocolate Liqueur
If you’ve ever seen that thick, rich chocolate shot on social media and wondered where to get it — this is the place. This drink is super thick and creamy, with strong notes of vanilla and cocoa.
Overall, we thought it tasted like chocolate pudding. It’s sweet, smooth, and an absolute must-try for dessert lovers.
Schōnauer Apfel Liqueur
This one was a total surprise. It smells just like apple juice, and guess what? It tastes like apple juice too… but with a boozy kick!
It’s crisp, slightly sweet, and has a little bit of a burn at the end, but nothing too strong. If you love apple flavors, you’ll probably love this one.
Should You Stop By?
If you’re drinking around the world at EPCOT, Weinkeller is a fun little spot that’s worth checking out. While the Germany Pavilion is usually known for its beer, this tucked-away wine bar offers something a little different. Whether you’re looking for a crisp white wine, a bold red, or a sweet, chocolatey liqueur, this spot has something unique to offer.

I don’t really drink but some of these sound really good, especially the apple one!
