After years of the Main Street Electrical Parade’s departure from Magic Kingdom, a new nighttime parade is on its way!

Disney Starlight is set to debut at Magic Kingdom this summer and we can’t wait. Disney has shared that the parade will be “brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy” from the animated classic, Pinocchio. We know that there will be characters from Encanto, Frozen, and Peter Pan, too, and Disney just revealed a new look at one of the parade floats!
Disney has already shared looks at a few of the parade floats, including a Disney Princess float and a Coco float, but now, we’ve got a new float to gaze upon in wonder!

Check out the INCREDIBLE concept art for the new Disney Starlight float — themed after Wish! Asha, Star, and Valentino are all featured here on this whimsical-looking float, which also features the large tree and fun floral elements from the movie.

In fact, the star on the Blue Fairy’s wand will be the “first star you’ll see tonight” and viewers will be invited to wish upon that very star to kick off the parade.
In January 2025, Disney revealed additional concept art for a float featuring Disney Princesses and their Princes including Aurora and Philip, Tiana and Naveen, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and Belle and the Beast.

The NEW Disney Starlight promises to change the face of nighttime entertainment at Walt Disney World for the foreseeable future. We can’t wait to share more information about this new nighttime parade as soon as it is revealed!
