Disney fans, get ready for a comedic and shocking documentary on the history of mischievous activity inside Disney World!

Magic Kingdom
That’s right; we’re getting a Disney true-crime documentary. It will supposedly expose some of the thievery that had taken place at Disney World. Let’s take a look!
On April 11th of this year, the Florida Film Festival will be opening with the new documentary. The feature is called Stolen Kingdom — ok, we’re listening! The documentary will be a part of a massive lineup for the film festival. Matthew Curtis, the programming director for the festival, stated, “After a record year for submissions and number of countries sending their films to us for consideration, we are totally psyched with the diversity and excellence represented in this year’s festival” (Orlando Sentinel).

Joshua Bailey, the director of Stolen Kingdom, will be in attendance at the film festival. His film is said to take a look at the secret dealings of Disney attraction pieces that eventually led to a half-million dollar animatronic being stolen. The film will feature people who are a part of the park’s “urban exploration community”. The film is also going to dive into pranks during the early days of Disney and how they have led to the unsolved mysteries of today.

If this doesn’t sound fascinating enough, more was revealed about what will be covered in the documentary. You may or may not be familiar with an old, iconic EPCOT attraction, Cranium Command. The classic ride featured Buzzy, an animatronic who led the experience in a child’s brain. Well, the film will cover the disappearance of the animatronic in 2018! It will go over the mystery of the report of his clothes being stolen, as well as the figure.

As we mentioned, Stolen Kingdom will be screened on April 11th. It will take place at 6 PM at the Enzian Theater in Orlando. The film will also have a second screening at 7 PM at Regal Winter Park Village in Orlando. If you’re available and in the area, this would be interesting to check out! You can find more information on buying tickets on the Florida Festival Film website.

I bet this won’t show up on Disney+ though I would love to see it
It sounds fantastic! However, this needs to come to Disney plus too so that everyone has the opportunity to watch it.
