When sweet treat o’clock hits, we’re running to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn!
The BoardWalk has some of our favorite restaurants, like Trattoria al Forno and Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, but it’s also home to some of the best cake slices on Disney property. Just a short walk from EPCOT is The Cake Bake Shop Bakery, but instead of trying cake, we decided to switch it up and try some PIE!
The Cake Bake Shop has two locations next to each other, one, a sit-down restaurant, and the other, a counter-service bakery. Both buildings are covered in pink and gold accents with a whole bunch of glitter, and you can feel the brightness as soon as you walk in. We picked up the Chocolate Peanut Butter Mousse Pie Cup for $15.
This pie was made with a Callebaut Belgian chocolate cookie crust filled with a creamy peanut butter mousse. It’s topped with a chocolate ganache and freshly roasted chopped peanuts. It reminded us of a big version of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup but with way more filling, and we’re obsessed!
We loved the texture of the filling, which was perfectly gooey but had more structure, making it easy to eat. It came in a cup, so we could dive right in with our forks and not have to worry about making a mess. It has more of a whipped mousse-like feel than a normal cake slice, which we really appreciated.
Of course, the top had edible gold glitter! This added a bit of magic to the dessert and made us feel like we were eating at Disney. UGH — this is what a peanut butter lover’s DREAMS are made of — we’re in love!
The only part of this pie we weren’t obsessed with was the price. We thought $15 was a little steep, but besides that, the cup was utter perfection. It was decadent and rich, and we’ll definitely be back to try it again.
If you love chocolate and peanut butter, you’ll want to head to The Cake Bake Shop Bakery to try this one out for yourself! You can easily get there by walking past the France and UK Pavilions in EPCOT to the International Gateway entrance.

Have you tried The Cake Bake Shop? Let us know in the comments!
Yep. Rip. Off.
I think she is over priced on a lot of things. My family was there in December, the bake shop and restaurant are very beautiful. The cakes look beautiful. We ate dinner there, which we enjoyed but, we were very disappointed in the dessert department. I still think 8.99 is ridiculous to pay for a glass of ice tea here in Florida, in her other locations it’s 4. I call that price gouging.
Winston. Have you had anything from Cake Bake?
$15 for something that small? ‘A little steep’ is the understatement of the year.
Do you have any idea how easy it is to make this? This place is so overpriced for what it is. Guess they’re jacked up prices are going into your pockets to get you to promote their overpriced diabetes.
