We have an important EPCOT update for you! The park will be closing early one day in May for a private event, and we don’t want you to be caught by surprise.
The parks sometimes have adjusted hours for special events or buy-outs, so it is always important to check the Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date information for your trip.
On May 21st, 2025, EPCOT will be closing early for a private event that begins at 7:30 PM. The private event is a buy-out for the SAP Sapphire & ASUG Annual Conference Orlando.
EPCOT will likely close even earlier than 7:30 PM to provide enough time to empty the park and prepare for the private event. However, we don’t know the exact time yet as the park hours for May 21st haven’t been posted yet.
On the final night of the SAP conference, there will be a celebration night at EPCOT. The buy-out will take place from 7:30 PM until 11:30 PM. The celebration night will even feature a private concert from the Zac Brown Band!
If you plan on being at Disney World on May 21st, it is a good idea to make note of the early closing for EPCOT! You can either choose a different park to go to that day, plan to park-hop after EPCOT, or take advantage of an early evening if you do end up in EPCOT.
While we are talking about EPCOT hours, we have another reminder for you, too! EPCOT will be opening late on April 6th due to the runDisney Springtime Surprise Race. On April 6th, EPCOT won’t open until 10 AM (Early Entry will be at 9:30 AM for Disney World hotel guests).
Remember that park hours can be found on the Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app, so you won’t be caught by surprise when a park opens late or closes early!
